Every interaction with Hedley and Sarah was positive and I would choose them if I was to sell my property. We bought a bungalow and Sarah kept us up to date through the whole sale progression process, and Hedley had been a pleasure to deal with during the viewings/negotiations. Highly recommended.

They have been super helpful, kind as I have not been through this process before so have been walking me through step by step. I feel comfortable asking questions and they got my house on the market and people through the door viewing within a couple of hours. Just all round great service so far ????

From the initial valuation together with the ongoing support once my property was sold, through to them liaising with my solicitors and the estate agents from who I am purchasing my next property. Fees are always a bit of a contender when selling ..but you get what you pay for and they have definitely proved they are worth it with there helpfulness and professionalism.

14th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)I am not one to write bad reviews, however I am in shock with how badly I was treated & spoken to at Elwell Taylor. I contacted them about letting a commercial property for my small but fast growing business. I found a property that I liked and wanted to arrange a viewing. While the ladies that answered the phone were super helpful and friendly I was then unfortunately handed over to a gentleman named Sam Oliver. I explained to Sam that I was very interested in said property and I wanted to arrange a viewing, I had to wait 5 days to view this property as “ they don’t work weekends” which he abruptly told me on the phone & he couldn’t do the next working day either! I explained that the market is very hard to get into at the moment & things are being sold very quickly so I’m worried that I will miss out hence why I wanted to view the property earlier than 5 days time, he had no compassion on the phone and I felt like I was being spoken to like a child. I patiently waited until Tuesday (today) with hopes that his “bad mood” and “ bad customer service” was just one time thing as I can understand the last time I spoke to him was a Friday afternoon so he just wanted to get home. This wasn’t the case, I arrived at said property today and wasn’t even greeted, he didn’t introduce himself ( I had to find his name on your website). He didn’t talk me around the property and didn’t even know the answers to my very simple questions such as “where are the toilets located” “what are the business rates”. You would hope as an estate agent showing you around a place that they deal with they would know the answers! Shocking! Furthermore he proceeded to talk down to me and say that this “premises isn’t for me” and tried to say the he had told me that on the phone which he didn’t, I feel sorry for the person that owns this property as he wasn’t very good at selling it to me! After looking around the premises with no help or little information, I decided that even if it was for me I wouldn’t ever go for it if I had to deal with Ellwell Taylor again! It’s a shame that from day one It wasn’t a friendly experience, I felt like I was a burden to them! Rather than a customer who is wanting to pay good money for a property and generally needed information and help with finding a premises. He really let the company down with the way he spoke and the way he comes across! I run my own business and would be appalled if my team members spoke to clients like that! My complaint is simply the customer service and has nothing to do with the properties that I looked at, like I said even if I found my dream premises I wouldn’t even go for it if I had to deal with him! Such a shame!

Their valuation process is great and would make any seller confident to list with them. They are always on hand to offer advice without expecting anything back!
