6th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Beware! This company do not care about tenants or their welfare. They failed to settle their own dispute with the landlord, who then turned on me to recover her losses. They basically lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with the situation, chased a tidy profit out of a very ugly situation they caused in the first place. Don't be mislead by other positive reviews... They're probably all good if all goes well and their banking their commissions, but if there are any complications they'll leave you high 'n' dry. They're simply not a good company, and their contracts are worthless pieces of paper unless the clause is in their favour. This machiavellian organisation are a disgrace to their industry. They caused me untold stress and cost me a fortune. They should not be allowed to trade. I’d strongly advise you steer clear.
5th Sep 2024 (11 days ago)Absolutely awful experience with Abbotts Mildenhall! Just purchased our first home via this estate agent and unfortunately don’t have any positives from this experience. They constantly ignore all emails and phone calls, provide incorrect information, provide incorrect prices and are generally unhelpful and unprofessional. We dealt with Lee, Oscar and Spencer and had the same experience with all. Do not recommend!

Despite a tiny hiccup on our side towards the end Coral went above and beyond ensuring things were completed in time. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Any questions they didn’t know about the property they soon found out and informed us. Their communication has been fantastic throughout and we cant thank the staff at David Burr Castle Hedingham enough.

In particular Stephen and Vicky have been there to provide advice and support at crucial moments and there has always been a member of the team available by phone. We would not hesitate to recommend Heritage to anyone seeking to buy or sell a property.

15th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)GOOGLE STATES 50 VIEWS SO FAR ???? Hi everyone, (they're not 5 stars) I am currently in a legal dispute with Abbey Sales / Scott Maddison. They state I owe them a commission fee (which I don't recognise); a different Estate Agent (Michael’s Estate Agents) sold the property and received the actual commission fee, paid to them by my solicitor. Abbey Sales & Lettings (Scott Maddison) may legally have a claim however, this is yet to be determined; and may well involve court action. I have included photos of the letters from their debt recovery partners etc. that were sent to me, and me to them. I will continue to update and post on this review all correspondence I receive from Abbey Sales & Lettings/Scott Maddison. The posted email from Abbeys debt recovery partners was the first communication of any sort regarding their claim, approximately four months down the line from the actual sale (not sold by Scott Maddison, but by another Estate Agent). Updated 29/07/2024 - I have just requested the original VAT receipt in respect of their £1980 claim, NO invoice has been sent to me in regards Abbey/Scott Maddison’s claim to date, only the email from Abbeys debt recovery partners. An invoice should have preceded a debt collection request. Scott Maddison did know of the sale, they were the letting agents right up to the point of sale .. by another Estate Agent (Michael's Estate Agents). I had a private meeting with the manager of Scott Maddison one month prior to moving my property to another estate agents, giving Scott Maddison one further month to increase viewing figures, which they failed to do. The Manager at no time stated I would be liable for any charges whatsoever if I moved estate agents. I have not received an invoice to date (15/05/2024) just the debt recovery letter.

I’d seen Nick’s agency and I thought that his experience and approach would be more suited to us and we were absolutely not disappointed. Responsive, highly experienced, patient, professional and hands on, just what we needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

7th Sep 2024 (9 days ago)Steve and his team did a great job with the marketing and viewings, showing people around the house. Emily, the Sales Progressor, kept us informed, as did Connor, Matty, Marcus and Naomi. There was a bit of a bumpy start with scant property details and an unappealing selection of photographs. New details were produced with our input and our choice of photos from the batch taken by Harris and Wood's photographer. We were then up and running. The house went on the market on 1 June and we completed on 5 September - not bad at all. Thank you to all at Harris and Wood.
