I have been ringing Home local for over a week for a viewing.
They have been saying we will get someone to come back to you. I have been ringing 3 times a day for a week and no one has not got back to me.
Home local truly do not know how to talk to customers and people,
They are like third nipples completely useless.
Do not give them your property to sale or rent coz they do not know how to talk to people,
Keep away from them they will give you more problems and issues instead of trying to help.

I share this a year later as they threat to sue me when I said I will share how they treated me. They only care about their fee and treat you like your a peasant.
This is opinion and my story of how I felt I was dealt with.
Where to start... Despite offering to take the photos myself as it is what I do, I was told that they owned a property photography company that could provide amazing marketing, they uploaded photos of our property. Without trying to slander them and others all I can say is I was not impressed at all.
When I confronted this I was called by Lewis the director. Which ended up in a back and forth that we had only been given their smaller package smaller of a £3000 fee which majority of other agents was offering £2000 with amazing marketing. (we choose them due to condition of purchasing a property through them) however he insisted he had the best stats for the area.
He then said I can take my own even though we was now 4 days later and If I said earlier when we went onto the market I would have had them done ready to go live.
A few days past and we decide to pull out of the property due to a problem we found with the neighbouring pub. (nothing to do with home local) when we pulled out of the property we also wanted to come off the market with home local as we originally intended on using another estate agent who we originally wanted to go with as they was cheaper fee with much better marketing too.
This is where it really took a turn for the worst, I had 4 calls with the three guys Sean, Ben and Lewis over a period of time. The 4 calls were defensive and argumentative, they claim it was (informing me of the industry) Although it takes two tango my main aim was to be taken off the market with themselves. One of them claimed we could not come off the market as we had signed a contract in branch giving us no 14 day cooling off period even though it wasn't signed in branch at all. Once we argued with them proving them wrong they allowed us to come off the market and then we had calls from them informing us of laws and why they are the best.
After waiting for a full weekend and another 2 working days pass we was taken off after a phone call and an email of Lewis explaining my situation again.
Now I understand we may be on the lowest package and lewis made a very good point of this during our call, however reflecting I would say 50% of estate agents are less than your fees (average of 1.14% across the UK = our property being £200,000) and provide much better photos.
I would also like to add that even though it may just be an apartment and as they have all reminded me and we are only paying £3000 which every-time mentioned to them it was clearly nothing to any of them.
BUT to me and my partner this is our biggest purchase, this is our home, this is our first time selling and you’ve actually made it horrible, I've never felt this way towards a company.

Brilliant service, Ben came and viewed the house, very friendly, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable. He stated he would sell our house, he also undercut our other estate agents fee’s. The came to every viewing to walk the clients round and we just answered questions, this was a lot better and took the pressure off us.
Well he did sell our house, quite quickly, thank you Ben.
The rest of the team were also great, very helpful and did everything we asked from them. The sale progression team, great. Chelsea thank you.
If I were ever to do this again I would definitely use them again and I am currently referring them to other people if they need estate agents
