Constantly checking on the progress of all involved much more than our other agency experiences. We will definitely be using Boothroyds again. Also Dan's removals recommended by boothroyds were 10/10.

1 Binswood Street Leamington Spa Warwickshire , CV32 5RW(97 reviews)11th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Over valued, under sold. We went with Complete based on seeing them sell in our road previously. Unfortunately, our process was not smooth sailing after we accepted an offer that was then recinded. We then didn't get any viewings and were told by Complete to reduce our price twice (despite them valuing the house, and us accepting their valuation as given). We did reduce twice, and although we had the house on for offers over, we were finally encouraged to accept an offer under. We were promised a plethora of viewings on sign up but in reality, we had only had 20 viewings booked and 18 turn up in almost 14 weeks on the market, and that was including 2 open houses. Some of this was down to the original photos being poor and having to be redone but then we missed the algorithms on Rightmove. We often felt some of the agents were apathetic, and some were incrediably patronising, especially if we were presenting as anxious due to different issues that arose. We didn't have one consistent agent either and seemed to be managed by 3 or 4 different people, which at times hindered communication. To be fair, Amy was great and explained things well. We were tied in to Complete for 16 weeks but if we could have changed agents at 8 weeks, we would have done. Also, it often felt that although we were Complete's paying client, it didn't feel like it at all, and they made some decsions that caused quite a bit of stress to our children, both of whom have additional needs. We explained this to Complete several times but we felt this was disregarded. Maybe our experience was a one off but even though we have sold, we would not use Complete again and would not recommend to our friends.

18th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS BEWARE! This agency is atrocious towards tenants, especially international students because they know they can get away with it. They'll bug you when they want your money but will ghost you and keep you guessing until you pester them when you need their help. They're unnecessarily strict to the point of troubling everyone, even themselves. My landlord wanted to charge us £400+ just for overgrown grass and they blindly sided with the landlord, despite market price of grass cutting being around £100 - £200 max. Had to go through so many hoops and many months of dispute just to get our deposit back. 13th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)I’d originally only left a one star rating here and wasn’t going to air my grievances in public. Though, since I’ve now been accused of being a ‘troll’ by the business owner I don’t have any more reservations. Dealing with Tom at Kingsman was stressful and confusing at times. With all my experience of buying and selling I still can’t quite understand the way in which he operates. After entering into renegotiations I never understood why Tom would re-advertise the house we’re buying without telling us. After Tom then received other rival offers on the house, I don’t understand why he would disclose someone else’s offer to us; egging us on to try and beat it. After we trumped the rival offer by thousands, I wouldn’t expect to be told to jog on. I do wonder what, if anything, he has advised his client for them to reject this free money. We’ve had a few messages from Tom updating us on some work the vendor is doing to the house, all followed by a ‘but you’re not buying it anyway.’ Why even bother? Now we’re a couple thousand pounds down because this vendor has been poorly advised, all while the business owner is calling my review ‘fake’. Why not reach out to ask why we’re so annoyed with your staff?

Jack constantly put value on the positives of our home and was very efficient at handling the viewers negatives. Refreshing!
