11th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Just completed this sale of my father-in-law's house. We were keen to use an agent with local knowledge and I'm very pleased we chose Alan Cooke Sales and Lettings. We received excellent advice on how to aproach the sale and the marketing was exceptional. As a result, we received a large number of offers very quickly. We then received detailed advice on the benefits and risks of each offer and the associated chain. We chose an offer that was most likely to complete and the whole process of marketing and conveyancing was wrapped up in just over three months. Very happy with the sale price and the agents fees. I'd reccomend Jonny and Elissia to anyone looking to sell in North Leeds.

5th Sep 2024 (11 days ago)If it is possible to give zero stars I would. This is the most horrible letting agent I have ever come across. They aren’t straight forward,they give different informations at different times, and are all really horrible. They make renting a property very exhausting and draining. After waiting for two weeks they kept giving I and my friend opposite informations and trying to confuse us. Lying and not knowing how to do thier jobs properly. I have a whole lot to say but all I would say is run from them. Flee if you must they are a disaster and if you know you don’t want stress in your life then you should avoid them at all cost. I wish I did.

We saw some properties with them, and all the time we were visiting the houses, James and his team were really helpful, friendly and professional and we are really happy that the house was finally purchased through them. We certainly recommend them and if at some point we would sell any property, we definitely will contact them as they are a wonderful company.
17th May 2024 (17 weeks ago)I purchased a property through this branch, which couldn't have been easier. Jacqueline was easy to contact and was quick to respond, even after completion. Charlie was absolutely brilliant in securing us a great mortgage rate and also helped us to negotiate a fair price for the property; I would not go anywhere else in the future for mortgage advice.
2nd Sep 2024 (14 days ago)I first used Hunters in 2020 to sell my home and back then they were excellent. 4 years later I instructed them to sell a rental property. All I can say is thanks Jack and team for a consistently brilliant service from valuation through to completion. Should also mention there is no better person than Tracy to manage the day to day in getting the sale over the line. Why people advertise on their website if they don't even have time to answer the phone for serious buyers?

It’s a breath of fresh air to call and have really friendly interaction and feel like an individual and not just another number wanting a property. Extra review for Tom and Cyrus, great customer service, really informative and just really nice friendly guys to deal with. Feels like I’ve known them for ages. Really glad I have found this business and have no doubt they will help me find my perfect little home. Thanks guys keep up the great work!!!

31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)I have been using Dawson Estate for all my property sales and rentals for years. The service really is amazing. I am consistently particularly impressed with the way they do sales. Their advice is always excellent. The photos for the properties are taken by a brilliant professional photographer, the advert goes up really quickly and they engage wonderfully with buyers to arrange viewings. The process to accept an offer is full of good advice. But, as if this wasn’t enough, their follow up of the sale is second to none. I had previously experienced how other big agents let things stagnate. Not Matt. He will keep the process going. The communication with all the parts involved is outstanding. I just can’t recommend them highly enough. Lesley at head office was wonderful in assisting with the purchase from start to finish. I also loved the gift when I collected the keys which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend!

Communication was rapid, with a human touch. The logistics were clearly explained, well-documented and efficiently handled. As “virgins” to letting out property, we were handled gently ???? I would unhesitatingly recommend their Small Is Beautiful approach, especially in comparison to the faceless and careless route taken by some of the bigger, corporate operators.
