8th Aug 2024 (11 weeks ago)This branch of Shaw Oldham is truly disgusting. Because I made offer for a 3 bedroom semi-detached house and they said will me inform within 2 days if the offer is accepted or not. But after 2 days I call them and they told me that the property is sold, I am really surprised I told them I am waiting for the reply but now you telling me that the house is sold. this branch are really unprofessional and they play with the people.
9th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)I would just like to pass on my experience when dealing with Vicky at Bridgfords, I found her service to be extremely professional more so than other agents in the area , she always has the time to explain things in detail and takes the time to chat. I found her very professional and polite when trying to buy a house.
6th Sep 2024 (7 weeks ago)We contacted cousin to view a local property of interest. We arranged a viewing and respectfully completed the application form. We submitted the form and diligently followed up with phone calls and messages every other day for updates. We were informed that the application had been forwarded to the landlord, and we patiently awaited his decision for confirmation. Unfortunately, two weeks later, we were notified of an error on the form which was just an Excuse. We promptly rectified the error by refilling and resubmitting the form. Regrettably, we learned the following day that the property had been rented out. If you did not just say we will update you with an update and told us of the said error this could have been corrected 2 weeks ago to stand a chance in getting the property thanks again

23rd Sep 2024 (30 days ago)Avoid this place at all cost. I placed and offer giving the asking price for a property, I called 3 times to ask for an update only to get a response "we will let you know once the seller decides". Today I got an email that my offer was rejected and no option to increase it. When I called to discuss, willing to increase my offer significantly, I was told that I should have increased my offer even if it hadn't been rejected. 41 years of life never heard that before, that's completely against the laws of "offer and acceptance". Also the advice I was given was to always offer my top offer straight away, ok that's another new for me. Next time I will offer 50% above asking price to entertain myself and waste peoples time.

15th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)The agency itself it's fine but I want to make everyone aware of a corrupt landlord Paul Ginty who made me homeless by accusing me of running an illegal massage business from the flat in Moston! This was just a few days after I've moved in, I refused him to come to the flat to do some random repairs I wasn't told about right at the beginning. I let him finish off what he meant to do at first but he kept coming up with other excuses to do other repairs which didn't need doing. He seemed very desperate to come in do them even though there wasn't any repairs left to do. I work as a counsellor from home over the phone and the tenant has a right to privacy. He's a dodgy landlord who believed he could take advantage of me because I was a young woman, so be aware. He sent me intimidating text messages saying he would just walk in, which upset me because I felt he could appear at any time as there was only 1 lock on the door and I didn't feel safe. He only gave me 1 days notice to leave, when by law its between 1 or 2 months. I was homeless for 3 months because of him, sleeping on sofas, having to put all my stuff into storage and going through more stress which I didn't need after seeing my dad dying of cancer few months earlier, I will not let anyone treat me like this, he's probably never been told NO by a woman and I believe this is what triggered him. His approach was more suited to a place like Poundland, where people don’t need to think much before making a purchase. The service I experienced was extremely upsetting and disrespectful.

18th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)I wa struggling to sell my property with another estate agents I wasn’t even getting viewers through the door Taylor at the Swinton office obviously had noticed this and personally posted a invitation through my door to see if they could help. I gave them a call Chris came to visit me explained by thr finish and standard of my house this should of sold by now I allowed them to market the property the house went on the market with hills on a Thursday by social media which was great they used videos and improved the pictures by the following Saturday Chris did a group viewing I received an offer well over the asking price which we accepted yes they sold the house within 3 days whereas it had been on the market with previous estate agent 6 weeks from start to finish couldn’t fault Chris, Taylor and the team

I chose them for this reason. I have been extremely satisfied with their performance and also my own thought process in picking EweMove to sell my property.
5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
