6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Austin Chambers are the go to Estate Agent for Lettings and Sales in N.11 and surrounding areas. I wouldn’t use anybody else. They offer a remarkable, reliable, good and truly honest service. The staff are so very kind and helpful, and nothing is to much trouble. I have dealt with them for over 3 decades and 100% recommend them.

I got 6 valuers to come to my property to value it and Bairstow Eves, Christopher was so professional and warming. He was interested in knowing about the property not just measuring it. He was also interested in me as a person and helping me achieve my goal to move. Then I met Klaensa and I could not have asked for a better selling agent. She is on job, making those phone calls, she keeps me updated and she also works so hard because she cares about her clients. She is the ultimate package of professional, kind, down to earth and informative sales agent and it just goes to show because my property went under offer in 2 weeks and I had 2 offers to pick from. They have achieved my expectations and I will always recommend them. Thank you so much to Klaensa and Chris for all your hard work!

Both Chloe & Jade, who I worked with, had a deep understanding of the local market and were very proactive in their communication and willingness to accommodate the specific needs for my apartment. It was an absolute pleasure working with them and I would highly recommend them!

10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with Hunters West Hampstead Estate Agency. The agent failed to show up for a scheduled viewing, leaving me waiting for over half an hour. Despite calling their office twice to check on the agent’s whereabouts, there was no punctuality or communication from their side. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for clients' time is unacceptable. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
20th Feb 2024 (23 weeks ago)Excellent lettings, horrible tenancy management. I rented my apartment in 2020 through 'Reliable Homes' which was later acquired by 'Drivers & Norris'. After this acquisition, getting a reply from the agency on any non-emergency issue became a test of patience, though to their credit they would 'eventually' get the issue resolved. Few times this became extremely stressful, for example when it took me 6 months and several emails, including notices of formal complaint to the The Property Ombudsman, to get my tenancy deposit back after vacating the apartment in a perfectly fine condition.

Quickly responded to my emails and have been very friendly and accommodating, would recommend!- 12th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)I dislike having to leave negative reviews especially when Foxton's comes so highly recommended but my experience was nothing short of terrible. I found a flat through the company and upon receiving the lease, the legal document was full of typos and mistakes. Upon paying the deposit and signing the lease, I was told at 6pm that I had to make the 12 month upfront overseas rental payment that day or I would risk losing the property. This was never raised to me before they demanded the payment out of business hours. After paying the deposit and signing the lease, I was informed that the property had fallen through. I had already made arrangements to move and was forced to resign my current lease. I then had to get my deposit back and had to call numerous times as my emails were ignored. Additionally, I was informed by the deposit insurance company that my deposit was no longer protected. I eventually got my deposit back after numerous emails and phone calls. Throughout my time with Foxtons, the team was ill informed and unprofessional forcing me to resolve most of the issues myself. I understand this may have been one bad experience, however, I strongly advise against using this company unless you absolutely have to.
