28th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Matthew Stacy was the seller's agent in my recent purchase. Matthew's client is quite dis-organised (e.g. misplacing the keys for the flat on sale), but Matthew dealt with this with a sense of humor, eventually recovering the keys. During the transaction stage, for a while, my solicitor was acting quite slowly. I was able to get hold of lender's inquiries, and saw that one of the items was an electricity certificate. I figured that rather than waiting for my solicitor to talk to the seller's solicitor, I should just ask Matthew. He got the certificate for me the next day, and my solicitor was shocked when receiving it from me. The valuation turned out to be lower than my offer price, which meant that the bank would loan me less money. I was really out of cash by that time. and wanted a price reduction so that the sale would go through. Matthew was able to negotiate with the seller, and I got the price reduction I asked. Overall, a positive experience... Except that Matthew's task is not over even though the sale has completed - a fob is missing - and hopefully, Matthew will help getting it for me!
5th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)It was a genuine pleasure working with Sophie of Statons Estate Agents, Totteridge. When we needed her to be strong on our behalf, she was strong. When we needed tact, diplomacy and reassurance she was there for us. She was always totally honest, straightforward and direct, so that we knew exactly where we were at any time. She has seemingly boundless energy and, when the occasion arose, she was a real fighter on our behalf. Above all, she understands the sometimes subtle art of successful negotation. Sophie is a real winner, who deserves to rise high within the organisation. Sitting now in the first day of our new home, we cannot thank her enough. Ronnie & Nicki
6th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)My girlfriend had a less than satisfactory experience with a certain employee who showed her around a flat in Colindale. During the viewing he was impolite and condescending, undermining our salaries and saying we could not afford the flat based on just one our salaries, like no ****…? We are seeking to rent as a couple, and our salaries were more than sufficient to afford this property. He then went on to suggest that the landlord would likely reject our application. However, a few days later, he sent us an email stating that the landlord was interested in making an offer. Unfortunately for the landlord, we had already accepted an offer on another flat where we had a much better experience. When we declined the offer, the employee then went on to tell us that we were "a little unfair in how we conducted ourselves but what can you do". Having read reviews from other people, it is apparent that this employee has a habit of treating prospective tenants poorly. A word of advice, treat your prospective tenants with respect and provide better customer service, it is not difficult.

23rd Apr 2024 (6 days ago)As a British Citizen living in Melbourne Australia, I have used the letting services of Glenhall for 7 years. Also, recently to sell my 1 bedroom flat in New Southgate N11. Having known Farooq and his understanding of lettings, I decided he was the best representitive to alleivate the process of procuring a legal conveyancer and for Glenhall Estates to market the flat. Well, I could ask for no more. Clear communication from Farooq and his understanding of the timings and completion. Also, delicatley communicating with (myself!) the conveyancer, tenants and the buyer. Farooq! Cheers! Flat sold! Lee Phillips

24th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Terrible estate agents put us through hell for nearly a year couldn't be bothered to do anything didn't wanna fix any problems me my 3 year old daughter and partner got moved to harlow by hackney council so woodlands was our estate agents if anything needed repairs they was meant to sort it we had no hot water or heating for nearly a year kept complaining nothing got done we had to sleep in the living room as the whole house was covered in mould and our clothes washing machine floor cooker my daughter's toys everything was ruined they told us to clean it ourselves my 3 year old now has asthma she was healthy before we moved their I had carbon monoxide poisoning due to the sever smell of mould environmental health found over 28 hazards and shut the place down only a week before we had to move due to the property being shut down they put a new boiler in after waiting nearly a year they lie they are disrespectful and rude Please if you have a property from woodlands screen emails messages take pictures because that's what we did from the day we moved in they called us liers but we had all the evidence now solicitors and environmental health are involved

Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly approach made the entire experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Addison Townsend who stand out as one of the best in a saturated market and Stephanie in particular, for her brilliant level of service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Her response was so unprofessional and rude that it made me do this review. I'm impressed with how they are still in business!

When I left the rent they told me the house was not good. Before I rented, the house was a dump But I repaired it. Before I left, they asked me to fix the bedroom, so I did what they said because I didn't want the deposit. Even though I repaired it, they deducted it from my deposit.????????????THESE ARE SCAMMERS

Wendy dealt with my sale which was complex and drawn out but she did so with professionalism, patience, positivity and perseverance throughout. She regularly went over and beyond, dealing with the various challenges my sale presented promptly and proactively. I cannot thank her enough. She is brilliant and the company are lovely to deal with.
17th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)I chose them because James had come to our house a couple of over the years to value the house and has always been really friendly and very honest. Not only sis he give me advice on the sale of my property buy one I was purchasing having as well, which was above what he needed to do. James and David found a buyer quickly and it was the process from offer to completion is where they excelled even more. David outlined the time and and stages and would literally update me every week. He would contact all parties involved. He cut through anything irrelevant and just gave me the info I needed to know. Absolutely fantastic job. And really nice people
30th Oct 2023 (5 mo. ago)I never normally write reviews but in this particular instance I thought Richard and Toni at Lowthers Estate agents fully deserve to be recognised for their tremendous efforts during the sale of my property. Upon completion we soon realised that we had been dealing with each other for approximately 12 months following 3 different buyers due to a range of different issues along with the ever changing dynamics of the housing market. However despite all this, Lowthers remained thoroughly professional, committed and adaptive with their approach throughout the entire process always making me feel up to date and comfortable. I honestly believe most agents would have given up but they remained confident with the task which ended with a great result. I will definitely be using Lowthers in the future when I decide to sell my next property and would recommend to anyone thinking of doing the same.

11th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Stones Residential have no care for their tenants and are only concerned about pleasing the landlords they represent. They took ages to fix various things in our flat, including the hot water last autumn. They took very long to get back to us when we raised issues and even then we received replies that were sharp and rude, with zero empathy. Once we finally moved out they took 3+ months to resolve our dispute and continued to take 0 ownership or responsibility. Avoid at all costs.
12th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)1 star is too much for this establishment, the worst estate agent known to man, I would not trust them at all, kept over 50% of out deposit for a small stain on the carpet, and charged us for a professional cleaning service at the end of the tenancy, when it was never cleaned when we first moved in, I got the entire flat pained before moving out but charges as for marks on the wall. They will invade your privacy with unannounced property visits and use the set of key they hold to gain entry. Very very bad communication. I would head for the hills if I came across them again Good luck and stay away
