Well worth their slightly higher than average fees.
19th Jul 2024 (11 mo. ago)I wasn’t going to write this but I think people should be aware. Back in winter from October to January, I moved into a flat rented by M L Estates. Since the first time I tried to put the heating on, it didn’t work, there was also a leak that’s caused a wide spread of mould into the apartment I was living in. You could clearly tell the issue had been ignored in the past, the door was rotten but had been painted over.This continued the entire duration of my rental period and progressively got worse, with active water coming into my apartment. I reported this back to Kay, and I was always met with hostility, they left me without any form of heating during winter, I could see my breath in the flat, even worse, the apartment had huge windows and a vent in my bedroom letting cold air from the outside in. It was awful, I was told we’ve been an estate agent for 25 years, we can fix a bit of mould, yet nothing was done and there was clearly a history of this kind of problem. I wouldn’t go near this estate agents. They were aware I was estranged university student, yes I had fallen short on rental due date, but given the current climate of the cost of living and being a student in itself, it’s difficult to navigate, this wasn’t met with much understanding, instead a constant hownding “ as she was following the landlord instruction”. My experience was gross negligence, and I would hate for someone else to be in the position. It was only when I googled how long you can leave a person without heating when I realised this situation really was terrible, if I had the funds I would of escalated it, of course they knew that though. I reported this early December, I moved out the very end of January . Just be aware if you are living alone, and don’t have much support, the estate agency is not for you.

11th Jul 2019 (5 years ago)I never write reviews but I feel so strongly about this company. They treat tenants like second class citizens. We reported problem after problem but they just got ignored and didn’t get fixed. However when we moved out we completed checklist in order for our bond to be returned. Renown gave excuse after excuse for the bond not to be returned. We were being lied to over and over again. Absolute disgrace.

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

I put a further offer in with Courtney and was advised i would here back today .looked on Rightmove to see the house to find STC .no email what so ever .Do not ever go through this awful estate agent they just want your money could not care less.as for so called Courtney change your job

One aspect I particularly appreciated was their consistent availability by phone and their willingness to assist promptly — a refreshing change from past experiences where reaching agents or receiving timely responses was often challenging. When the sale fell through, family members encouraged me to look at an alternative agent but I felt it was sensible to continue & things improved dramatically. I was very grateful for all the agent did to complete the sale.

A special thank you to Matt, who showed me around the property and was really approachable and helpful. Me and my partner are students and are really excited to move into our new house for final year, we have felt supported every step of the way. Highly recommend!
5th Apr 2025 (13 weeks ago)The marketing team do a great job of showing casing properties, with their photography and social media skills…certainly eye catching with the aim of getting people interested in requesting viewings. HOWEVER it’s all downhill from there! Actually getting someone from the sales team to take a viewing is nay on impossible, and when you finally manage to book a viewing you are attending with 4-5 other people….and don’t expect any questions to be answered whilst you are at the viewing as I think they are only present to open the door!…The sales team are really inexperienced and have very poor customer service skills, communication is practically none existent with repeat chase up calls needed from your end. Quite honestly I don’t think I’d be interested in a property that was managed by Signature as I’d dread the experience.
