11th Jul 2019 (5 years ago)I never write reviews but I feel so strongly about this company. They treat tenants like second class citizens. We reported problem after problem but they just got ignored and didn’t get fixed. However when we moved out we completed checklist in order for our bond to be returned. Renown gave excuse after excuse for the bond not to be returned. We were being lied to over and over again. Absolute disgrace.

What I found was a completely contrasting experience, with excellent customer service and superb attentive staff that led to the successful sale of my home for the asking price Would not hesitate to use RMS again and a huge well done to the team at Bedlington

13th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)I’ll recommend Trading Places to anyone looking out to rent or buy. My process renting was easier than I ever imagined. In few days, I got a place that’s 100% my taste. Clean and well maintained property. Big Thanks to Karen for efforts during the viewings & documentation process. Referencing was swift and easy via the Platform used. Viewing and moving in was less than 2 weeks. Shout out to Lauren for taking out time despite tight schedule for Day 1 briefing. No doubt my wife & I will have a sweet tenure in the apartment. Thanks to Trading Places.

We had a fair amount of veiwings then a sale was agreed. The staff were very helpful all the way through to the sale. I would highly reccomend them

Having sold our property in Gosforth with Brunton Residential, And having a smooth exchange, we needed to rent for a period of 18 months while our new property came onto the market, so we thought with this in mind we would use there services again, nothing wrong with the property rented, or the overall service, we are just not happy with the non return of some of our deposit, we moved into the property on the 18th August 2022 and moved out on the 01st March 2024, they kept £250.00 for the garden not being in the same good condition as when we moved in the summer of 2022, we had a gardener cutting the lawns every two weeks in season, however had stopped and wasn't starting again until the start of the spring, we were also charged for not removing a wooden child's play house, which was was left by the current owners, which we thought was a little unfair as it was not ours to remove.

It seems that their only interest is finding ways to avoid refunding my deposit. Secondly, I moved house during the pandemic and was advised to isolate. I contacted Armstrong to discuss possibly sending the keys through the post or having them pick them up from the property. This request was made because they had previously stated they would inspect the property on the last day of my tenancy. However, they insisted that the keys must be dropped off in person at their office by the last day of my tenancy. They mentioned that failure to do so would result in an additional month's rent charge.

The staff was attentive and helpful, making my experience exceptional.- 19th Jul 2024 (8 days ago)After many months of having 2 successive, potential buyers withdraw from the buying process (1 just before exchange of contracts), I have finally completed a sale on the third attempt. During that time, the staff at Andrew Craig have almost become my adopted family. Without exception, they have been instantly reactive in addressing any un-foreseen issues, whilst also being proactive in anticipating potential issues and moving forward to expedite matters. The staff within the Gosforth branch have felt my pain with me, comforted and advised me and have provided a personal service way beyond just selling property. If you need a hand to hold throughout the conveyancing process or you simply need a high standard of professionalism, I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew Craig estate agents in Gosforth. From the first meeting I was assured they shared my values of transparency and fairness and I was thrilled by the support I received. They worked doggedly, getting dozens of viewings for the property to ensure I reached the value I needed to achieve. At every point in the process, the communication has been exemplary. As a first time seller, I feel they really understood how to balance the personal and the professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

18th Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)Possibly the most appalling service from any estate agents ever encountered and would most certainly not recommend.We chose Signature because they appeared highly professional and polished. This was certainly the case when they sent their show pony to value our property and do their sales spiel. However, upon signing with them relations went downhill rapidly due to various factors which I will highlight below.Despite being only a 20 minute drive from their nearest office, Signature failed to attend any viewings advising that they didn\'t have sufficient notice to conduct them. We were therefore left to conduct all viewings ourselves whilst both working full time. They later advised that accompanied viewings were complimentary.Their communication was poor with prospective buyers and when we tried to get through we were passed around different people. We never saw or heard from the initial person who came out ever again.When it came to negotiations, Signature disclosed sensitive financial information to prospective buyers which was ultimately detrimental to our sale and lost us money. To them it didn\'t matter but to us it impacted heavily and was a huge breach of trust. Despite formal complaints being made not a single apology or acknowledgment of this followed.When we agreed a sale (with no part played by Signature at all) we heard nothing from them throughout the entire sale process. I subsequently requested that our Solicitor send their fee directly to us to facilitate direct payment. Lo and behold, the company who had ignored contact the previous 3 months were quick off the mark to threaten legal action within 3 hours of completion if their fee remained unpaid.So, in summary, no I would not recommend. For the same service, you could save yourself thousands and simply print off a poster and sellotape it to the nearest bin.
