Take a moment to read my review, and I promise you won't regret it. Moving can be a tedious and lengthy process, especially when settling in a new town or country. However, my experience with Brown and Merry was remarkably smooth. After contacting several agencies and registering with many online, I shortlisted properties from Brown and Merry and other agencies. Their properties stood out, and when it came to the letting process, they made it seamless. What impressed me most was the negotiation with the landlord. Alexander Read handled the discussions with professionalism and finesse, ensuring we secured the property under comfortable circumstances. He made the buying process so much less stressful than we thought it would be. He went out of his way for us as my partner is self-employed which made things a little trickier during the application process but with Jonathan's support we were accepted and able to buy our first dream home. I would recommend his services to anyone!

4th Mar 2025 (11 weeks ago)We were purchasing through Mustard and I only wish the estate agents we were selling with were half as good as them! Maddie, Ben and Tom all excellent and most helpful. Sadly, our sale fell through but even at that stage they were really supportive and kind. Great team would definitely recommend them.

I first spoke to Luke back in 2022 when I was going through a pretty complicated situation. He and the team could not have been more patient and supportive. I eventually sold in 2024, through a private sale (I'd disclosed the party back at the start as potentially interested). Even though he never got to put the house on the market and there was no commission, Luke was still a massive help. I cannot recommend him enough. If you're considering selling and have some questions you need an honest answer to, or you just want an agent you can trust to do right by you, 100% pick up the phone. You won't regret it.

We had two other estate agents come round, both giving hard sale tactics, one even telling us to fill out the paperwork to sell the house before he came, to "speed up the process". Richard gave us time and made us feel like we just sat down with a friend to have a chat about selling our house. His guidance and the help from the whole team was outstanding. The photos taken by Frazer were beautiful and really made us question why we were moving! Charlotte wrapped up the whole process with an amazing after sales customer service experience and was on hand to offer advice and help push through the sale as effectively and quickly as needed All together a faultless experience and we would happily recommend Jackie Oliver to anyone looking to buy or sell, we just wish we had bought a property through them as well! 31st Dec 2021 (3 years ago)Marie’s remarkable work ethic We were with another agent for 6 months, they showed know interest or drive to sell our house. We decided to go with a different agent. We went with Marie from fine and Country Marie had the drive and a different outlook on the selling of our home . She booked one open day for potential buyers to view, on that day we had a disaster, a water leak!!! (we were away at the time) Marie not only sold our house in it’s worst state , she helped with the clean up !! We were kept informed all the way through out the sale of our home . We would highly recommend Marie for her outstanding service , positive attitude and her remarkable work ethic!!

From the very beginning the communication was excellent, first of all dealing with Dom to arrange a viewing and then negotiating on the offer. We had quite a lengthy process due to solicitors and everything that comes with buying and selling in the UK. It was made a lot smoother thanks to Elliot at Lion Estates who was the sales progressor for the purchase. He helped with communication between solicitors and even assisted on our sale, this definitely eased the stress! They also took the time to arrange another viewing before completion. Everyone in the team we spoke to were very friendly, helpful and honest. I’d certainly recommend them and use them in future for selling a property.
