6th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)We sold our house through Fine & Country. Liz Teasdale and Nicola Lorraine held our hands every step of the way. They promptly answered any queries we had, were reassuring when the process was at its most pedantic and calmed us down when we were stressed. From the superb photos taken at the start, all the way through the whole process Nicola and Liz were professional and attentive and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They might be slightly more expensive than other Estate Agents but they were worth every penny. So glad we used Liz and Nicola.

I had a terrible time with this office! I'd advise against it, if you don't want to end up with headaches and ignorance.

11th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.Your Move - Hobin Roberts - Northampton

They were friendly, helpful, and professional while giving the whole process a human touch. Would recommend. Thanks to Luke, Aiden, Kirsty, and Sophia for helping us find our new home!

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Even when the first sale fell through for reasons out of their control the house was back on the market the same day and had a new offer the next day. They've chased everyone through the whole process. Their communication was fantastic, the whole process was smooth and easy, they went above and beyond to assist us with any queries, they were friendly, honest and quite frankly, excellent all round. 27th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
