We've recently completed the sale so a property and can't thank the staff at Michael Hardy (Wokingham) enough for all their hard work and perseverance in selling a property with a limited market. Barnaby Styer has been most helpful in keeping us up to date with the progress and making sure the property was continually visible on a multitude of different media. Sara Ankerson has been a great help, as have everyone in the Wokingham office. Would recommend them to anyone considering selling a property and looking for a highly professional service. My only complaint is that I have to find a new home and I don’t yet know when I can make an offer as I don’t know how long it will take to get the money into my account so I can proceed with an offer. I am a bit of a limbo as it’s my first time being in this situation..
22nd Oct 2024 (21 weeks ago)Where to start...We had an appauling service from another estate agent, and by the time we contacted Downers, I had reeached the end of my tether. I was not sure if we were heading into more of the same. However, Downers have been an absolute tonic. Nicky Padbury, being the first person I spoke to, kindly listened to all my worries (almost like some kind of therapist and poor lady), and she put me at ease right away. Nicky then introduced us to Richard. Richard took control and eased us through the marketing and sale of our house in a most professional manner. The photography was excellent; Richard took his time and picked the best weather to take the best shots. Once the brocure has been approved, bookings for viewings started coming through in volume. We had more booked in the first couple of days than we had seen in 3 months from our previous estate agent. The house sold within 10 days of hitting the market with Downer. We really could not be more pleased. Thanks also go to Fraser, who kept us informed of progress and was happy to answer any queeries we had as things moved forward. These guys been amazing all the way through till my house sold. Great experience with Romans. And also Romans helped me to find other rented property too. Dhruve was taking care of rented side and he's been so helpful too. All over experience definitely deserve 5 stars ?????. Definitely will recommend Romans to friends and family. ????????

2nd Nov 2024 (20 weeks ago)I stayed in a rented property managed by Walmsley and would like to mention that the experience has been excellent. The team is very professional, true to work, transparent and organized. I never faced any challenges during a 30 month stay and would recommend Walmsley to anyone looking for a property in and around Reading. Some names to quote - Beth, Janet...keep doing the great work!!
6th Nov 2024 (19 weeks ago)We did it! Thanks to the team at Parkers, Tilehurst for achieving a successful sale in challenging market conditions. We tried two other local agents beforehand which did not lead to any success (during Truss budget era and oversupply of property periods). The team at Parkers, worked closely with me as a team to progress from marketing, arranging viewings, agreeing price change strategy and completion within 4 months as 2nd time buyers in a small chain. We were able to achieve of aim of using to a 3 bed with spacious driveway and garden ????. Alhamdulillah ????

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

23rd Feb 2025 (25 days ago)We had a great experience selling our home with Ewemove. We picked them because of their market knowledge and honest appraisal of our house - we had confidence they would be able to sell it with minimum fuss. The sale materials were well presented and we secured multiple offers on our house within a short period on the market. Craig was brilliant to deal with throughout - he was very responsive and smoothed over any issues that arose during the sale. We dealt with another agent for our onward purchase which was not as good an experience. Would highly recommend Ewemove in Tadley.
