We recently purchased a property through Hamptons Caterham, and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received, especially from Carrie. From the very start, she was a pleasure to deal with—professional yet real, striking that perfect balance of being approachable without trying too hard, which is something we really appreciated. Throughout the process, Carrie was always incredibly responsive, replying to emails on the same day and making an effort to call back promptly if she was unavailable. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for us, making the whole buying experience remarkably simple and stress-free. What stood out most was that our conversations felt genuine. I wasn’t just dealing with an estate agent—Carrie’s approach felt much more personal, which made the entire experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism, combined with a real personal touch, is what set Hamptons apart for us. 16th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)This is a addition to my previous review left 2 years ago. We have bought the property through Clarendons and I can not recommend them enaugh. Especially Jordan who was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much for him and he did everything in order for our sale to be completed as soon as possible. Professional yet very friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with Clarendons, everyone was friendly and professional. I was very surprised when moved in to receive a welcome box with goodies inside. Never seen any other agencies doing that.

5th Oct 2024 (18 days ago)I just want to first of all pass on my eternal thanks to JOHN FREEMAN. He went above and beyond in his service to me as I was selling my property in Horley he sells property's within days he's well presented kind compassionate and shows empathy. It was a long drawn process however but NOT JOHNS FAULT as the first buyer seemed genuine unfortunately let john and me and legal side down.HOWEVER No sooner it was back on the market he sold it within 2 days. Such an incredibly talented man here you have working for you but as stated very kind considerate empathy aswell and as I had to sell my property due to my health. I WOULD NOT ONLY RECCOMMEND JOHN 100% BUT 110% JAMES DEAN HIGH MANAGEMENT TAKE NOTE OF THIS AND HOLD ON TO HIM. ??????????????????/????????????????????. I WILL SEND A CARD OF THANKS TO HIM FOR HIS MASSIVELY HUGE AND VERY KIND EFFORT.What an AWESOME MAN YOU HAVE WORKING FOR YOU. She was always available on the phone and email, responding quickly on both, unlike the agent we were buying from. She helped us throughout through this very difficult time.
13th Sep 2024 (6 weeks ago)Thank you to everyone at indigo. Especially to Michelle and Terri. You guys have been fantastic. I had seen a few properties with Indigo until i came across my dream buy. In a known location with everything I wanted - the process was long but I was kept up to date with all progress. As a first time home owner Michelle answered all my queries and advised me so well, she was always a phone call or email away. The team have been great I received first class service and Result!!! Will be moving in soon and super excited.
10th Oct 2024 (13 days ago)You will notice alot of positive reviews upon initial valuation. But please be aware that Jack follows up his valuations (the day after) asking for positive reviews. We felt at this time that we were happy with the service he gave. What has followed for the following 7 weeks is a million miles away from what was promised. Firstly, our flat was valued at a price that we believe was inflated in order to get us to sell with them. After 4 weeks and zero viewings we were told we should drop the price despite jack explaining that he is sure we would get over or above the asking price. Our advert has now been on for 7 weeks and despite us raising concerns about lack or contact, our issues persist. Within the first 3 weeks we raised concerns to the branch manager Kane that we have not had any update or contact, he apologised and explained that we would get an update on Saturday, this never came. We called again to explain our frustration. Kane offered to come to our flat to take some new photos as the ones originally taken were not great. During this meeting Kane explained that his colleague Tom was originally in charge of our sale and that he dropped the ball as he was moving to manage a new branch and that he (Kane) would be taking our sale on and assured us that they will do better and explained that he will update us every Wednesday. He also promised that he would send rightmove data that evening as we had had nothing from fox and sons for 4.5 weeks at this point. 3 days later I chased again to recieve this and finally got it. To date (7 weeks into the contact) this is the only update we have received other than one phone call from Luke. We are (and you will be too) locked into a 20 week contract with them that they failed to mention at valuation. When challenged they said this is standard and gave examples of other agents that do the same. All examples given were lies. We checked and none were 20 weeks. We have had a total of 2 viewings within 7 weeks and the contact has been woeful even after us explaining that we are dissatisfied and promises that they will do better. Unfortunately we no longer want to partner with fox and sons which we are gutted about as we really wanted this to work but we simply have no confidence with them now. On the contrary we have, had great service from David the mortgage advisor who has always been amazing and helpful.

10th Oct 2024 (13 days ago)Thank you Connells Crawley for all your help during my sale process. From the initial contatct I experienced nothing short of professionalism, dedication, expertise and knowledge from all people I came into contact with. They found me a buyer within 5 days from taking on my property. When this sale failed (because of my solicitors), they found another buyer withing 8 hours from the previous buyer's withdrawal! During the entire process they have been very supportive and nothing was too much to ask. They have done more than my own solicitors, and I'm sure without Doug and his colleagues I wouldn't be a happy owner of a new property. Connells is more than an estate agent, they really care about their clients, and do everything humanly possible to help you out. I would recommend Connells to everyone who is thinking of selling the property. These guys really know and understand how this business works.

The journey of buying and moving home could have been the most stressful process, but with Ismail and Zoe by my side, I was kept smiling all the way through! Ismail’s knowledge and professionalism combined with Zoe’s tenacity and understanding make them a phenomenal team, which I feel very privileged to have had them push my sale and purchase through. My children and I are genuinely grateful for how they took care of us from chasing solicitors, agents, always at the end of phone meant we can now create memories in our forever home.
