Being a first time landlord with no idea on how to get started renting my property, they were and have continued to be super informative, supportive and always on hand to reassure & answer any questions I have. Even when the pressure was on with a tenant leaving early, they somehow managed to find a new tenant & have contracts signed within 24hrs of listing. Outstanding service from the team! Both his approach over the phone and knowledge of properties discussed was stand out and i hope that it doesn’t go unnoticed within the company.

3rd Sep 2024 (8 mo. ago)This estate agent want £60 to make an offer on a house. They say the need to check identity and use a third party web based company to do this. The won't accept brining my passport or driving licence in to the estate agents as they say they can't assess if it is genuine or not! apparently the website they refer can! I think staff need training to check peoples ID. I guess its another way for estate agents to make more money. Imagine the number of people who may like a house and want to make an offer- pay £60 to do so, for the offer to be rejected. Not all agents do this, if you comply to these bully tactics it will become industry normal. You will find that companies like these will want your ID to be checked before doing viewings. I will not sell any of my properties using this company, when they take a percentage of the sale and insist on £60 ID checks of any prospective purchaser.

Alex took over and found us a tenant in a weeks time. I am so happy and impressed with Alex's persistant follow up, updates and the ownership he takes in making his customers happy. 5 STAR service- you are an asset Alex to reeds rains. Cheers!

10th Mar 2025 (10 weeks ago)We had an excellent experience selling our property with Reeds Rains Congleton and highly recommend their services! From the very first enquiry on a Saturday afternoon, the team impressed us with their professionalism. While other agencies were closed or unwilling to assist, the Reeds Rains staff were in the office, answering all our questions patiently and professionally. Tim, the manager, visited our property for a valuation and provided us with a well-thought-out, realistic asking price. The photos they took were of high quality, presenting our home in the best possible way. Thanks to their efficient work, we found a potential buyer very quickly. A special mention to Caroline, who was incredibly responsive and supportive throughout the entire process, ensuring everything went smoothly from start to finish. If you're looking to buy or sell in Congleton, we highly recommend Reeds Rains – a truly outstanding and dedicated team!
3rd Apr 2025 (7 weeks ago)From the first communication with Northwood it was always friendly, informative and very accommodating. We were kept informed from start to finish of the renting process and there was no hidden information or fees and it was very clear from the start. They ensured everything that needed to be done, was done before we were handed the keys over which meant we were stepping into our new home which was cleaned and very well maintained. We want to give a special mention to Sue at the Northwood Stoke office who was our contact. We owe her a big thank you for being so fantastic during the moving in process, you were always available for any questions we had and even met us at the property so we can do some measurements which really helped us prepare for moving in! Sue truly is brilliant asset to Northwood - she was a breeze to talk with, made sure that we knew everything we needed to know and ever so lovely with our boys! Thanks to the smooth, easy process we are now settled in our new home ready to make some new memories with our family. So if you are looking to rent, sell or buy with Northwood I would suggest you highly consider it as you would be in very capable hands!

In 2021 the shop got let out that shop now is a brothel only men go in there but its disguised as a "spa" ladies live in the shop which I've proven and they still do now. I've been dealing with the owner of this company (rory and mack) 2 weeks ago I made the same complaints again to which he tried to gaslight and manipulate me by saying well I will have to tell them who's made the complaint (scare tactic) unfortunately for Stephen I dont scare easily. And I've been told I've had a complaint made against me over noise which is an absolute joke in 10 years not one complaint because im not the one banging doors in the middle of the night the fact I cant have a bath in peace is ridiculous. Rory and mack took over my flat back in 2021 I was expected to pay them no contract was written up etc...... I refused to pay them and paid my landlady directly and you call yourself proffessional! When rory and mack did take over my flat for a while they sent 3 boiler men to try and fix my boiler I ended up paying my regular boiler man he had the boiler fixed in 20mins. So would I recommend rory and mack ABSOLUTELY NOT! Photo attached 15/4/23 at 21.13pm Further evidence is now being collected after purchasing a security camera several "clients" I.e men have been seen leaving the premises aswell as certain ladies who dont leave the shop at night so good luck trying explain the evidence away to the police. Funny washing for a "SPA" but they dont live there???? UPDATE FOR ANYONE INTERESTED. My landlady is now trying to get me kicked out of my flat for reporting said brothel so clearly someones getting backhanders as another person as said in another review on here. What there unaware of is the police have been watching them for quite a few months now ooops lol. Oh this ones for you gillet 6/12/23 7.30pm woman arrives with suitcase but they dont live in the shop???? Merry Christmas ???? Just a quick update to anyone who may be following before court goes ahead tomorrow this ones for you GALLET???? the evidence he thought wasnt "sufficient" enough well the police seem to think otherwise see emails attached ???? So its been a year today that I got the boot, but the real kicker is this wait for it....???? after leaving said property the landlady got rory and mack to put the damp moldy quite dangerous property really up for sale they failed, then it went to auction that also failed she's now resorted to trying to sell or let said property out herself and still not sold or let it out. So in conclusion karma really does come back around, and on that note au revoir! The ending goes as this she lived happily ever after me that is ????????

24th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Got my review removed on google because i didn't comment anything which is petty as hell ! so i'll be leaving my comment here with all the legit reviews as they seem to fake and remove any none 5 star reviews from their google account! Leaving a none comment doesnt equal a fake review ( even though my account was anonymous on google doesnt mean its a fake review FYI it was anonymous for reasons i cannot state publicly ) , its weird how im being treated and singled out while literal other reviews have no comments . This further proves to me they are a disguistng company that would only value their customers if you write a 4 or 5 star glowing review. My experience with this company was horrendous , and i continue to experince their horrendous and disguting treatment i will not be using them ever again . I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY unlesss you want to get treated like utter flith by them!

To then myself chasing a query and the conversation being so unprofessional, "well it's pointless". As a growing business nothing is pointless and when renting or selling properties on the owners behalf, do they get feedback when tenants/buyers get spoken to in such a way?
