I really appreciated their helpful and approachable service and would happily recommend Brontë Estates to anyone looking for a reliable estate agent.

Throughout the whole process they were incredibly helpful, always available and great at working with other parties to push the chain along. The price from the service provided felt very reasonable.<br><br>We had very challenging buyers who messed about until the last minute, Jemma and the team did a great job working with the solicitors and estate agents in the chain and really worked together to save the day.<br><br>Not sure I would have had this level of support and dedication from other estate agents. I would recommend them.
21st Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

She was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond her job role. I honestly believe that we wouldn’t be in our new house now if she hadn’t have worked so hard for us. Communication was great, she often replied within minutes and she reassured us when we needed it. She answered any questions we had with ease. She was also brilliant at chasing our solicitors for a response when we urgently required one and made a very stressful situation easier. We cannot recommend her enough!

Their communication, honesty, and reliability are second to none. Without a doubt the best estate agent in town. Special mention to Peter and Summer for their service on our recent purchase. 19th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I couldn’t recommend Redwoods highly enough after they sold my property in Halifax. From start to finish the whole experience was outstanding. Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. Outstanding service all round.

I don’t know how I would have got through without her.<br><br>The whole team from start to finish were amazing. I’ve sold several properties in my time and have always used Charnock Bates - they’re professional, they care and are with you every step of the way. I simply cannot thank them enough. Well done Charnock Bates and thank you for everything.

27th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing and, unfortunately, seemed to know very little about the property. Communication has also been very poor. Since making the enquiry, I’ve received six cold calls from their office in just two days, which has felt excessive and intrusive. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I would expect from a professional estate agent.
7th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!
20th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Made an offer on a property and Jack came back to me and said it had been rejected. Made an improved offer £5k below asking price.Advised he would come back to me shortly. Over three weeks have now passed and no contact. Since found out property sold to a higher offer. The basics are you communicate with buyers and do not just leave them hanging for weeks !!!!
