The communication was great all the way through and the whole team worked hard to ensure that buyers and we as sellers had all the information we needed. The whole process was much smoother than we feared, as the team went above and beyond to keep everyone to the required timescales. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Youngs again.

This time it was my son’s house, and once again the whole team went above and beyond from start to finish.<br><br>Sam and Leanne have been absolutely brilliant, always friendly, professional and willing to go that extra mile. The whole team work so well together and genuinely care about their clients.<br><br>I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Northwood to anyone looking to sell their home. 26th Oct 2026 (9 days ago)Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Lack of Reliability<br><br>I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Sarah Mains. We started the rental process for a property, submitted all the required documents, and successfully passed the referencing and credit checks conducted through Rightmove.<br><br>However, just two days before our planned moving date, an agent named Laura informed us that the landlord had decided not to proceed with the tenancy. By that point, we had already made significant arrangements for the move, paid advance costs, and even secured school admissions for our children near the property.<br><br>This sudden decision caused our family considerable stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. We had organised everything in good faith, trusting that the process was progressing as expected.<br><br>To make matters worse, we were informed that the holding deposit could not be refunded, leaving us in an extremely difficult situation despite having done everything required of us.<br><br>A family relocation is not a small matter, especially when children and school admissions are involved. I believe a letting agency should communicate responsibly, handle the process professionally, and treat prospective tenants fairly.<br><br>I would not recommend Sarah Mains to anyone based on my experience. The lack of reliability and the way this situation was handled have completely undermined my trust in the agency.<br><br>I sincerely hope they improve their service and treat future tenants with greater consideration and transparency.
20th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)The staff at NGU homes have been incredible with our move into our home, the whole process was smooth and very quick, specifically Shakil was so prompt and helpful with his responses and was just generally kind and very patient with us. Amy who we met at the house to get the keys was also lovely and super helpful!. I couldn’t fault these guys they have been amazing from start to finish, I would absolutely reccomend them. Thanks again guys!

28th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)They listed my4 bed detached dormer bungalow as a 4 bed detached HOME!!! SO I didn’t get any viewings for 10 week as google does not recognise home on any search engine it Could be found under properties but buyers only looking for bungalows could not find us!! I found out by distant friend trying to find bungalows online. They relaunched but missed summer buyers. Tied into 20week contract and cost me £354 to cancel -nightmare scenario for me.

The communication was second to none and we knew what was happening at every stage. Tom facilitated between Conveyancers ensuring we moved on the chosen date. The fees were competitive and the service was 1st class. I would 100% recommend Newfield Estate agents based on our experience.

From the initial contact to the valuation, marketing, viewing of property and communication they have been excellent. From our experience we would never use any other estate agent (in the extremely unlikely event of us ever selling our current home).

She was very helpful in addressing queries, and maintained transparent and fast communication across all the level. She was a very good link between myself, seller and the conveyancer.

31st Oct 2026 (4 days ago)Lune Valley Estates are an outstanding Estate Agent.<br>Ok, I would say that as they sold my house for me but they did it in such a professional way. They brought the right buyers through the door, at least 7 of them in 2 weeks, they spent a lot of time in the house with them ( I would always advocate that they do the selling and not the owner ), they could answer most of the buyers questions and at all times were open and honest in their communication, realistic and positive.<br>Ask them what you need to do for them to sell your house and you will get an honest and straight answer. Then do it, as we did. Ours went through in 12 weeks.<br>Rob, the director is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and a bloody nice bloke too.<br>I really wish he had handled our purchase as well but you can't win them all.<br>Cheers Rob and team.

14th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)I never thought that I'd give a glowing review to any estate agent but Brunton's were excellent at selling my mother's house in Hexham. It wasn't a straightforward sale but they were always there quickly with very professional advice and good online systems. Charlotte in particular was very on top of local data and experience for her valuation (and everything else).

Victoria kept in touch, provided updates, answered questions and was always willing to help, particularly during the final stages of the purchase.<br><br>What really stood out was that the service didn’t end after the offer was accepted.
