Emmie-Jai conducted the viewing and assisted us with the end of our tenancy. She was always extremely welcoming and helpful. Whenever I reported a maintenance issue such as a broken dishwasher the team replied within 48 hours and sent a reliable tradesperson quickly. Communication was always polite and professional. When my tenancy ended, my full deposit was returned promptly without any hassle. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent."

20th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)?????????? I’ve used Select Property Management for over 20 years as a landlord and have consistently had a fantastic experience with them. Steve, Gina, Debs, Julie, Lily, Janine, Nicola and Sue are all a real credit to the business. They’re always polite, supportive, approachable and, most importantly, they get things done. What I particularly value is the balanced way they manage properties. While they provide excellent support to landlords, they also work hard to make sure tenants are treated fairly, kept informed and supported when issues arise. If there is a maintenance problem or any other concern, the team communicate well, work with everyone involved and do their best to find a sensible and timely resolution. That balance between looking after the property, supporting the landlord and doing the right thing by the tenant is really important. Communication is excellent across multiple platforms, and I’ve always found the team responsive, helpful and easy to deal with. After more than 20 years of working with Select Property Management, I genuinely couldn’t recommend them highly enough. A brilliant team, a professional service and a company that clearly cares about both landlords and tenants. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough for both landlords and tenants. 5 stars!

We do not live locally and they made it incredibly smooth and easy and kept us updated with progress throughout. They gave us advise on suitable tenants using thier experience, which was much appreciated. It was a pleasure to deal with them….five star service.

He somehow managed to remain calm when I got frustrated with hiccups in the process lower in the chain.<br>Whenever we phoned, it didn't matter which member of the team we spoke to, they were always so helpful and did their best to answer our questions.

I took time off work for a viewing, submitted all the requested documents within 30 minutes afterwards, at the asking price without even negotiating, and clearly explained that I needed to secure a place urgently.<br><br>Despite this, I was later told the property had already been let agreed. This happened to me repeatedly, wasting my time and even my annual leave. My credit history and background are good, and I had no issues with the checks.<br><br>They clearly do not value prospective tenants’ time. If you want a smooth and professional experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Very poor service.

They paid close attention to detail going above and beyond, sometimes out of office hours in helping us find a new home for our family. The team is incredibly friendly, super approachable, and they genuinely take the stress out of being a landlord. Every time I've needed to get in touch, they've been quick to reply and always sort out tenant or maintenance issues with a smile. It makes a huge difference dealing with a team that is so warm, reliable, and professional. Highly recommend them to any property owner

I found this organization to very professional and my daughter feels very lucky to have them as the people looking after her flat as she won’t be frightened to approach them with any confirms going forward !!
14th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)I would not recommend Oakmans based on my experience.<br><br>I moved out of my property on 28 August 2026 and completed the checkout process properly. I handed my keys back in person at around 9am, the keys were scanned and photographed, and I signed the handover confirmation. I also completed and personally handed in the Deposit Release & Outgoing Services form on the same day.<br><br>Oakmans subsequently confirmed to me in writing that “the handover has been completed.”<br><br>My tenancy deposit is £1,125, and I have still received no clear update about when it will be returned. I have contacted them by email but have not received a response from the deposit team. When I called the office, I was told that deposit matters could not be discussed over the phone.<br><br>What is particularly frustrating is that I have followed the procedures Oakmans themselves provided, yet I am being left without any information about my money.<br><br>The new tenants have already moved into the property, so I expected the checkout and deposit process to be dealt with promptly.<br><br>Very poor communication and customer service. I simply want a clear explanation of the status of my £1,125 deposit and when it will be returned.<br><br>I would strongly recommend keeping written records of everything if you are renting through Oakmans.

Selling a house can be stressful, but they were there every step of the way and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.<br>A big thank you to Ross and everyone in the office for all your hard work. We really appreciated your support and would have no hesitation recommending you to anyone thinking of buying or selling a home.
