Ranjit, in particular, was very professional and I was happy to be advised by him. Kavita in the office was pleasant and always answered the 'phone.

Emmie-Jai conducted the viewing and assisted us with the end of our tenancy. She was always extremely welcoming and helpful. Whenever I reported a maintenance issue such as a broken dishwasher the team replied within 48 hours and sent a reliable tradesperson quickly. Communication was always polite and professional. When my tenancy ended, my full deposit was returned promptly without any hassle. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent."

We do not live locally and they made it incredibly smooth and easy and kept us updated with progress throughout. They gave us advise on suitable tenants using thier experience, which was much appreciated. It was a pleasure to deal with them….five star service.

They were brilliant from the start, communication was amazing, the staff in particular Amelia and Allisia always updated myself regularly and was contacting the solicitors on my behalf. They were very friendly and professional as if nothing was ever too much trouble.<br>They were available for viewings when requested.<br>The sold sign was removed within a few days of moving into our new home<br>Thank you.

Selling a house can be really stressful, but they were always there to answer questions, keep us updated and help keep everything moving.<br><br>Ria was brilliant at communicating throughout the process and always came back to us quickly, which made such a difference. He somehow managed to remain calm when I got frustrated with hiccups in the process lower in the chain.<br>Whenever we phoned, it didn't matter which member of the team we spoke to, they were always so helpful and did their best to answer our questions.

I found this organization to very professional and my daughter feels very lucky to have them as the people looking after her flat as she won’t be frightened to approach them with any confirms going forward !!

14th Sep 2026 (13 days ago)I would not recommend Oakmans based on my experience.<br><br>I moved out of my property on 28 August 2026 and completed the checkout process properly. I handed my keys back in person at around 9am, the keys were scanned and photographed, and I signed the handover confirmation. I also completed and personally handed in the Deposit Release & Outgoing Services form on the same day.<br><br>Oakmans subsequently confirmed to me in writing that “the handover has been completed.”<br><br>My tenancy deposit is £1,125, and I have still received no clear update about when it will be returned. I have contacted them by email but have not received a response from the deposit team. When I called the office, I was told that deposit matters could not be discussed over the phone.<br><br>What is particularly frustrating is that I have followed the procedures Oakmans themselves provided, yet I am being left without any information about my money.<br><br>The new tenants have already moved into the property, so I expected the checkout and deposit process to be dealt with promptly.<br><br>Very poor communication and customer service. I simply want a clear explanation of the status of my £1,125 deposit and when it will be returned.<br><br>I would strongly recommend keeping written records of everything if you are renting through Oakmans.
