3rd Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
6th Sep 2026 (19 days ago)My experience with Franklyn James was exhausting and stressful. After months of chasing them to renew my tenancy, the agency demanded unagreed, backdated charges. When I challenged these demands, I was served a Section 21 notice and forced to relocate between Christmas and year-end.<br><br>Due to their chaotic communication, the contract under which they demanded money turned out to be completely invalid, forcing them to refund me the difference. In an absurd twist, they simultaneously listed the property online for the exact same rent I had already agreed to pay. As a result of their incompetence, they both lost out on my rent increase for several months and failed to receive the illegitimate backdated sums they were claiming.<br><br>I escalated the case to The Property Ombudsman (TPO), and the TPO identified significant service shortcomings - including severe delays and poor handling of the renewal - concluding the agency fell below expected standards and awarding me financial compensation.<br><br>Upon moving out, the agency attempted to withhold a large portion of my deposit, but these unreasonable deductions were fully rejected by the Deposit Protection Scheme - highlighting their poor conduct right up to the very end.<br><br>Compensation doesn't undo the severe disruption and stress I went through; I am sharing this so others are aware: I strongly advise prospective tenants to avoid Franklyn James.

He was professional, efficient, and incredibly kind, always making everything feel smooth and stress-free. We’re very grateful for all his help and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and genuinely caring estate agent.

28th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)I have recently moved out of a flat managed by Elms, but wanted to leave a review to flag the great experience I had with them. My point of contact throughout was Nasim, he was always very responsive to any issues I had, making sure they were quickly dealt with. A massive difference from other agencies I’ve had to work with as a tenant in the past.<br><br>Nasim also helped to quickly get me rehoused after an issue in another flat I had been renting, finding me an available property within a day of being told I’d have to move out. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough if you’re looking for professional, responsive, and friendly letting agents.

10th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Not a great experience - some agents at Madison Brook, Docklands communicate intentions clearly and in advance, but we have had an agent let themselves into our flat for a viewing with NO prior notice whatsoever, without even knocking on our main door. Just walked straight into our house, and knocked on our bedroom door to check if we were home before conducting the viewing. No respect for privacy. Services throughout the rest of my tenancy managed pretty well otherwise.

Over the past 2.5 decades, Anthony, and his team have supported me extensively, from property letting / ongoing management, through to property sales & purchase. His level of commitment, focus on client care, and overall expertise in this sector is nothing short of outstanding – I genuinely could not recommend him, or his team highly enough. Most recently, I engaged GHE to sell a rental property – the sales team led by Rania Karyada & Gabriela Stahei worked tirelessly to ensure a rapid & smooth sales process. Another excellent result from the GHE team !
10th Sep 2026 (15 days ago)My partner and I have had a nightmare with this estate agents. From the second we were accepted on our flat everything has gone very wrong. Mehmet and Reg are virtually impossible to get hold of and once you do get hold of them they don’t deal with the problem for days/weeks. We went to move into our property and found the flat completely filthy depsite them saying theres been a deep clean. We also have now discovered our carpet is infested with moths and had a they had put another peice of carpet over the top to cover it up. The landlords are completely innocent in this and is all down to poor organisation, communication and management from reg and mehmet . Would not recommend this company.

We quickly settled on JDM and so glad we did because the whole team were brilliant. We always felt kept in the loop and their honest advice and feedback was much appreciated. The whole experience was stress free.<br><br>A huge thank you to the whole team, but especially Gemma and Eleanor, for all your hard work!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend JDM Blackheath to anyone looking to sell their property.

11th Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Exceptional Service from Highcastle Estates – Especially Nabeel, Yuri & Zaid.<br><br>Selling our home has been one of the most stressful experiences of our lives. With a young family, we never anticipated that a relatively short chain would turn into an exhausting nine-month ordeal. We had two buyers pull out, and just when we thought things couldn’t get worse, our final buyer played endless games, leaving us feeling completely drained right up until exchange.<br><br>Through it all, Nabeel remained an absolute rock—professional, calm, and, most importantly, communicative. He kept us updated at every stage, going above and beyond to ensure everything moved forward. There were times when he even took it upon himself to speak with our onward purchase vendors—something he didn’t have to do, but he genuinely cared about getting the deal over the line for us. Even on his days off, he would still take our calls, always providing a personable and reassuring service. By the end of the process, he genuinely felt more like a friend than just our estate agent.<br><br>I must also mention that we were not on a sole agency agreement. We had another very well-known estate agent in the area marketing our property alongside Highcastle Estates, and I can confidently say there was no comparison. Highcastle Estates were leagues ahead in terms of communication, dedication, and results.<br><br>The past nine months have been a gruelling process, but I cannot imagine going through it with anyone else. Trust the Google reviews—go with Highcastle Estates. You will not regret it!

She has been brilliantly responsive throughout the process and handled all my queries, keeping me updated at every stage. A fantastic, speedy process managed very well, all the best to Saskia in the future.

Nick was available to speak anytime, provided excellent and honest feedback after every viewing and made you feel they had your best interest at heart. Once an offer was made and accepted, the purchase process was handled very efficiently and I was kept updated at every step. Overall, a refreshingly satisfactory experience.

Throughout the whole process, he kept in touch, explained everything clearly, and answered my questions quickly. He arranged a successful open house with 17 viewers and secured seven offers, achieving a very good price for me all in the first week .His professionalism and reassuring manner made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
