While we didn’t end up purchasing from them, they were excellent during our viewing process and were extremely communicative and prompt. Alan even went out of his way while he was on holiday to organise a viewing for us and to answer any questions we may have had. We’re super grateful for that. His relationship with his sellers is more like good friends than clients and it shows that he really cares for the person on the other side. We highly recommend him and his team and hope to work with him again in the future.

They made everything from the viewing to moving in very smooth and were always happy to help with any questions. Really appreciate all their help and would definitely recommend them!

13th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)RUN AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY.<br><br>My experience with Coopers of London, particularly dealing with Mr. William Delaney and Anne Hughes, was appalling. I would strongly urge prospective tenants to think twice before renting a property managed by this agency.<br><br>We experienced serious disrepair involving leaks, water damage, pest concerns, and months of disruptive construction work. Despite documenting the problems extensively with photographs, videos, and emails, communication was repeatedly confrontational and dismissive rather than constructive or professional.<br><br>We endured more than three months of building works while continuing to pay full rent, even though parts of the property — including the bathroom — were unusable. Their proposed solution? We were told to use the bathroom at a nearby gym. Workers also stole and damaged personal belongings when we were not in the property and despite raising these concerns agency deliberately chose to enter the property without our authorization.<br><br>The handling of access to the property was equally concerning. There were repeated attempts to arrange or obtain access without what I considered proper consent or reasonable coordination, causing significant stress and disruption.<br><br>One incident during COVID was particularly shocking. As an asthmatic tenant concerned about unnecessary exposure, I asked that property viewings take place while we were present and provided several alternative time slots. Rather than treating those concerns respectfully, William Delaney described my medical concerns in writing as “spurious” and proceeded with a viewing despite our objection.<br><br>Throughout the tenancy, I felt there was an extraordinary lack of accountability, empathy, and basic professionalism. Instead of feeling that serious problems with our home were being addressed, we repeatedly found ourselves having to document issues, chase responses, and defend perfectly reasonable concerns.<br><br>This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a property agency.<br><br>I cannot recommend Coopers of London under any circumstances. If you value respectful communication, proper handling of maintenance problems, and a professional relationship with the people managing your home, my advice is simple: RUN AWAY and find another agency.

Throughout this period, I have been delighted with both the quality of the tenants they have secured and the exceptional level of service they have provided. I use Fisks’ fully managed service, which gives me complete confidence that all landlord compliance and legal obligations are handled professionally and efficiently. Their network of trusted maintenance contractors is excellent, ensuring any issues are resolved quickly and to a high standard. I was originally introduced to Fisks around three years ago after experiencing a very difficult situation with previous tenants. James and his outstanding team were incredible during what was a challenging time, supporting me every step of the way to restore the property to a lettable standard before marketing it professionally and successfully securing new tenants. What really sets Fisks apart is their personal approach. They are always accessible, you speak to the same people who knows both you and your property, and they genuinely treat you as a valued customer rather than just another number. James and his team are knowledgeable, responsive, supportive, and consistently go above and beyond. If you are looking for a letting agent that provides professional marketing, high-quality tenants, excellent property management, and truly first-class customer service, I would wholeheartedly recommend Fisks without hesitation.

18th May 2026 (19 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Johns&Co at London City Island. From our very first conversation, we made it explicitly clear that parking was a requirement for us. We were initially shown a property with parking, shown the parking area itself, and then shown another property which we were told also included parking. Based on those representations, we proceeded and had our offer accepted. Only later did we discover — via a WhatsApp message from the agent Katie — that the property did not in fact include parking and that we would need to rent a space separately. This was clearly material information and something we had specifically stated was essential to our purchase decision. We would never have proceeded had the correct information been provided from the outset. What made the situation worse was the handling afterwards. We were initially told compensation would be offered, but after querying the amount, the local manager Elliot called to say we would receive nothing because the issue had been discovered “early in the process” and he did not believe anyone had done anything wrong. The overall attitude felt dismissive and lacking in accountability. We were left having wasted significant time and effort progressing a purchase based on inaccurate information, and ultimately had no choice but to withdraw. Buyers should be very careful to independently verify all “confirmed” information provided during the sales process.

He has been involved from the outset, when he first showed us the flat, and has remained consistently engaged throughout, always included in communications and clearly overseeing matters with care and attention. The flat itself has also been excellent, which has made the whole experience all the more positive. Now, two years on, we’ve just completed an inspection with Mas, which was handled in a professional yet relaxed and friendly manner. It made what can sometimes be an uncomfortable process feel straightforward and at ease. It was also striking that he remembered small personal details about us, from meeting family members to our hobbies, something that is quite rare and much appreciated. He has always been flexible with timings and accommodating of our work schedules, which made a real difference. The wider team have also been excellent, responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Overall, the experience has been smooth and stress free, and we would highly recommend them.
