10th Jan 2026 (24 weeks ago)We had been with Greenlands for almost 3 years, they have been very good landlords/agents. Any requests were immediately acted upon, fixing things were very quick. They are respectful of your space - no surprise visits and they always ask for your confirmation. I really like that they manage properties locally so their office is super close to the properties. They are very responsive with the emails, repair requests, questions - anything you need. We got the deposits back really quickly as well. Thank you Will very much for taking care of us!
8th Apr 2026 (12 weeks ago)I used Lloyds to sell. When I terminated the contract due to lack of professional conduct (including changing terms of contract without prior agreement) and poor quality service, the owner of the business Patrick French would not leave me alone even 8 months after I terminated the contract. Contacting me unnecessarily to ask who had bought the properties in question despite it having nothing to do with him, helpfully pointing out that he could check land registry to find out who bought from me, threatening to take legal action for defamation if I chose to take my formal complaint to the ombudsman. I wish I'd never met this man - he has caused me no end of stress and caused major delays to me moving house and moving on with my life. Seems very amenable when you do what he wants but as soon as I stopped doing what he wanted, he wouldn't leave you alone. Luckily I found estate agents who did the job properly but only after suffering through what this man put me through for nearly a year.
17th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Have dealt with Look for 30 plus years, as letting agents for an HMO & in all honesty, never had a bad experience. No none payt. & very pleasant tenants. The recent house sale went very smoothly & the consideration with which Look dealt with the tenants was reflected in their being obliging during a process that had no advantage to them.

We are very grateful for their on-going support for or school community.

10th May 2026 (7 weeks ago)rented a property through Blackstone Residentials from 17/03/2024 to 01/02/2026, and it was one of the worst renting experiences I’ve had. From the beginning of the tenancy until the day we moved out, several major issues in the property were never properly resolved. One sink never worked correctly, one shower had ongoing problems, and the washing machine was faulty for months. Even after repeatedly reporting these issues, repairs were either delayed for an unreasonable amount of time or never properly fixed at all. The washing machine replacement alone took around 3–4 months, and the replacement provided was a refurbished machine with very limited functionality. What was most frustrating was the attitude from the agency whenever we raised complaints. Instead of taking responsibility and managing the property professionally, they constantly blamed the landlord by saying things like “our owner is not good” or “she doesn’t listen, we can’t help.” As tenants, that should not be our problem. We were paying rent expecting a properly maintained property, not excuses for nearly two years. Every time we contacted them about maintenance issues, it felt like they were doing us a favour instead of fulfilling basic responsibilities. Many of the complaints we raised at the start of the tenancy were still unresolved by the end. The situation became even worse after moving out when they attempted to claim nearly 90% of our deposit — including deductions related to issues we had already been reporting to them for around 1.5 years. Thankfully, the deposit was protected through DPS, and because we had evidence, emails, and documentation, we were able to dispute the claims and recover most of our money back. My advice to anyone considering renting through this agency, especially students: document absolutely everything. Take photos and videos before moving in, keep all emails, and never rely only on verbal promises. Without evidence, it would have been very easy for us to lose a large amount of money unfairly. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this agency.

28th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

From start to finish, he was incredibly dedicated, proactive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything progressed as smoothly as possible.<br>What really set Gaurav apart was how far he was willing to go beyond the normal responsibilities of an estate agent. Gaurav was not even our estate agent he was the agent from whom we were buying off and actually supported us and did more for us than our own estate agents (who were useless). Throughout what was at times a complicated chain, he regularly took the initiative to contact solicitors and other parties involved to keep things moving and ensure everyone was aligned. Rather than simply waiting for updates, he actively chased information, followed up on outstanding issues, and kept us informed every step of the way. His persistence and determination undoubtedly helped prevent delays and kept momentum going when things could easily have stalled.<br>Gaurav was also exceptionally thorough. No detail was ever overlooked, and he always took the time to explain things clearly, answer our questions, and make sure we understood exactly where things stood. We never felt like just another client; he treated our move as though it were his own and genuinely cared about achieving the best possible outcome for us.<br>What could have been a very stressful process felt far more manageable because we knew Gaurav was on top of everything. His professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile gave us complete confidence throughout. It's rare to find someone who combines such expertise with such a personal and caring approach.<br>We would wholeheartedly recommend Gaurav to anyone buying or selling a property. He exceeded our expectations in every respect, and we are incredibly grateful for all his hard work, support, and dedication. An absolute credit to the profession. If we ever decide to move again, I really hope he is still available. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to sell my house and work alongside with. Their team have always been friendly and helpful whenever we've had queries with the flat, and always been on hand when repairs have been needed. Their communation is promt and clear, welcoming and approachable, and the two property managers we have been liaising with recognise us whenever we've needed to stop by for some admin or to drop papers off. A really personable service, and a lovely and refreshing change compared to previous agencies!
