When you call them to give a true feedback they usually become aggressive and hostile.<br><br>Update July 2026 - I have revised my review rating to 3 stars from 1 star just because of the individual brilliancy of Cristina Gaibani. Cristina is very engaging, ethical and sensitive to tenants' concerns, which is a welcome change from the standard erratic, unfriendly, unethical and stubborn way of the rest of the Hurst Lettings team.

I was kept updated at every stage and always received feedback from viewings and offers quickly. I mainly dealt with Gennaro and Natasha who were both excellent and helped make the whole process smooth and stress-free! Would highly recommend

3rd Jul 2026 (30 days ago)I can't recommend Oakleys highly enough following our recent house purchase through them. From the moment we were onboarded by the owner (a very nice touch), the process combined professionalism with a human touch that can often be found wanting in this industry. The team at Oakleys were always on hand and swift to respond, and it meant that all of the inevitable, potential hold ups that come with a house purchase were dealt with quickly and efficiently, leaving both the buyers (us) and sellers feeling well looked after. This was our fourth house purchase, so we've been through this a few times - and certainly it was the smoothest so far.

He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and gave me practical advice that really helped me understand what I could realistically afford.<br><br>I really appreciated that he took the time to go through my income and borrowing options with me and never made me feel like just another customer.<br><br>In my opinion, Luke is the best mortgage advisor in Leighton Buzzard. His professionalism, knowledge and genuine willingness to help really set him apart.<br><br>Thank you so much, Luke. Your support has meant a lot, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a mortgage advisor.

23rd Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS.<br>Only leaving 1 star as unable to leave 0.<br>We have just purchased a property through Christopher pallet, Colin and Ross are both horrible people. They hound you every day with passive aggressive emails until completion, then once completed if you have any issues they are completely uninterested and ignore you.<br><br>When we had our survey done, it was picked up (among other things) that two of the windows in the property were not working correctly. This was raised when discussing a reduction in price. Ross informed us that the windows would be fixed by the owners before completion. His exacts words were “the owners are going to get the mechanisms fixed, so consider that done”. What a liar. We raised on day one when we entered the property that this had not been done. They have ignored us repeatedly on phone calls and emails, and have now replied saying they are not going to do anything to help this. I’d honestly rather not sell or purchase a property than give this morally corrupt “business” any commission. I will be making a formal complaint to the property ombudsman and seeking legal advice.<br><br>Edit<br><br>I’m sure the reader of this review can tell how condescending and passive aggressive Ross is just from his reply. ????????????

He was quick to come back to me about 2nd viewings, and to accommodate my need to bring my family with me.

Mortimers came highly recommended by a work colleague, and we’re so glad they did!<br><br>Kerry and her team managed our property for two and a half years, and nothing was ever too much trouble. They went above and beyond, with excellent communication, great organisation, and genuine care for our home. We were able to view the property immediately after being listed online, placed our offer which was accepted the same day, before having a smooth end-to-end buying process over the following few months. Brilliant communication for all parties involved (including our conveyancers and mortgage broker) making it super easy (and less stressful!) for our first house purchase. Thank you!!

11th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)What a find. After a whole year of showings we switched to Orchid after a recommendation. Our experience went from misery to delight from then on. Carl’s team along with Kat could not have done more and were full of communications and feedback and more importantly, genuine potential buyers. Within weeks we were under offer and our period of huge uncertainty drew to a close. I cannot thank Orchid enough. We were made to feel like we were their only customer.

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.
