From the moment I met Aimee, she instantly understood what I was looking for in a home and was able to show me exactly the right house for my family. She even suggested a property I was hesitant to view, but she knew I’d fall in love with it, and she was right.<br><br>During the completion process I worked with Natasha, who was absolutely fantastic. She helped us progress our sale through a chain of five parties and four properties. She worked tirelessly, and honestly I don’t think we could have completed without her.<br><br>A huge thank you to the whole team.

He also advised me over the phone regarding an onward we were considering which I found extremely helpful.<br><br>Unfortunately our first sale fell through at the last moment, however we resold reasonably quickly considering the market. Both Amy and Charlotte who dealt with each sale were excellent at keeping me regularly updated during the process, I found them both to be pleasant and polite. Thank you, would highly recommend.

9th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)As a self-employed first time buyer, I had a lot of questions and concerns so I was lucky to find Luke as a mortgage advisor. He was patiant, knowledgable, and took the time to go through all my financing options in great detail to help me understand and figure out what would be the best. I hadn't expected a mortgage advisor to be there for the entire buying process and it was very reassuring to know I had someone to answer my questions. It also worked well that, being in the same office, Luke could liase with the sales team at Brown and Merry and pass information through quickly.<br>The sales team were friendly and efficient and Maisie took me to see the property as many times as I needed. A great team who didn't pressure or rush me, but made buying my first house much more pleasant than I had thought it would be. Thank you!

She has been professional, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and supportive. Erin was equally helpful when showing me around several properties before I found the right one. From start to finish, I felt well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

2nd Sep 2026 (14 days ago)Highly recommend Christopher Pallet. We were selling the family home of our late mother. Colin dealt with the whole sales process, from start to finish, including valuation, sales strategy, marketing, negotiations with buyer, solicitors, and other members of the chain. He even put one member of the chain in touch with a financial adviser to successfully resolve a mortgage issue that could have caused a problem with our sale.<br><br>Colin had great local knowledge of the market, was empathetic to our circumstances, and had a good sense of humour. He kept us up-to-date with progress and helped to resolve potential issues quickly.<br><br>His strategy paid off with a sale well above the marketing price and with the whole process taking less than three months.<br><br>On behalf of our family, I'd like to thank Colin and the whole team at Christopher Pallet for doing such a fantastic job.
10th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We highly recommend Stride And Son, who have just achieved the successful sale of our family home in Bosham, taking just over 6 weeks to exchange (despite a difficult market)!<br>Tom, Sam and Nigel are highly professional, and an absolute dream team to work with!<br>All three were genuinely positive, polite, easy to get hold of and discuss things with, and always went above and beyond to support us to achieve the smooth sale.<br>Sam was incredibly helpful, patient, skilled and efficient at getting our house details quickly onto Rightmove etc. That speed generated a number of enquiries the next morning, with Nigel carrying out the viewings the same day, leading to multiple offers.<br>We really appreciated Toms knowledge and guidance throughout the sale process, keeping everything on track between the buyers, solicitors and ourselves.<br>We have had an equally positive experience with Sam on the letting side as well.<br>We feel very grateful to them, they work hard and very well together as a team, and we thoroughly recommend them to anyone making the tricky decision of which estate agent to engage!<br>Thank you!

29th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)An estate agent unlike others. From the day of valuation onwards. Gave an honest valuation with reasons instead of an over inflated number to get the job. Had the property sold within a couple of weeks and kept the communication simple all along. Most of my dealings was with Sky, she recognised quickly I prefer verbal communication followed up by email rather than just wordy emails that no one reads.<br>In all my years I would say one of the easiest estate agents I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Only matched by 1 other in a different area.

From my initial enquiry through completion and beyond, communication was excellent. I was kept in the loop every stage, making the process smooth and manageable.<br><br>Katherine and Carl's personal and friendly personas kept them approachable when required and swiftly returning with answers to any of my queries. Their knowledge of the Berkhamsted and surrounding areas is invaluable and enabled me to significantly understand the property I was placing an offer on.<br><br>I strongly reccomend selling/purchasing your property through Orchid estate agents if you are looking for an attentive, personal service and a great sale.<br><br>I will be working with Orchid estate agents when the time comes to selling my property.

18th Aug 2026 (29 days ago)I think it depends what partnership you have, I one I had the sales pitch was great but the communication throughout once I signed up with them was terrible, at one point t after I chased and chased for feedback after 1 week after a viewing they told me I had an offer, yes it was very low, but I was never told.

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. Will use another agent next time.

Was recently relocating back to Aylesbury for work and looking for a good rental property, and Jodie was absolutely amazing in organising online viewings and sorting all the necessary paperwork for me. Every time there was a problem she was there to help and support. Have dealt with many of the local agents in the past, and Brown & Merry are by far the best, 100% would recommend.
