18th Apr 2024 (6 days ago)I can’t say anything more than terrible. I’ve had no viewings in 15 weeks, no communication from Connells except when I emailed or phoned them first. I don’t think they had any strategy for selling my property but I wouldn’t know because they didn’t communicate. The photos and advertising online were alright but that’s about it. I’m now in the process of changing estate agents to one recommended by a friend and they already seem to know more.
3rd Apr 2024 (21 days ago)Selling my house with another agency. Today get a call from Abbotts, asking me "how it's going." I enquire if I'm with them, and they admit that they know that I am not. They give the name of the agency I am with. I then ask them not to call again. The salesman ignores this and is still talking as I end the call. Yuk.

20th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)As a landlord, who lives overseas, I've been with Penningtons for over 20 years. They have always communicated efficiently and clearly about my property and have always been on the ball with renting the property and looking after the tenants in it. Obviously, over 2 decades, there have been 1 or 2 minor issues, but the positives have far out weighed the negatives.- 4th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Would like to thank the team at Stowmarket Abbotts for all their help with making the purchase of my home possible with extra thanks to Sean Chadwick who helped me so much with chasing solicitors, and arranging viewings at short notice. 3rd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)While in the process of purchasing a property through Brown and Co, I encountered issues regarding the legality of the build on the land. As a result, I made the difficult decision to withdraw from the process. However, I was disappointed by the way Brown and Co handled the situation. Despite their own terms, they refused to sell my property and terminated the contract. I found their actions to be unprofessional and childish.
1st Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We have just purchased a property through Clarke & Simpson in Framlingham, specifically dealing with Oliver Johnson. We have been very proactive purchasers, pushing for as speedy a completion as possible, and Oliver has always been reachable by phone and/or email. He would always call us back as soon as possible if he was busy and communication was very good at all times of the day. Any requests we had for action, be it communication with the vendors or solicitors for example, were always carried out as soon as possible and we really felt that Oliver was working extremely diligently to ensure all parties were happy and the purchase went through as soon as possible. We have been really pleased with our dealings with Clarke & Simpson, Framlingham, and would highly recommend them.
25th Feb 2021 (3 years ago)Diamond Mills (Charlie Papworth) were extremely helpful. Within a fortnight of putting the property for sale with them, we had some good viewings, one of which produced our purchasers. At all times they kept us updated and if we had a query they never failed to respond. They are very professional and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

27th Feb 2024 (8 weeks ago)After dealing with an absolutely unreliable agencies we were nicely surprised and well impressed with Felixstowe Leaders team's approach. Olivia, our Agent, is dedicated to her job rising the standards for the industry. She showed a lot compassion to her work, a lot of empathy and understanding to tenant's needs and proved professionalism at every step of letting process. Always in good mood, polite and patiently answering all questions ... even if asked the same one for a tenth time :-). She was well supported by Marcus and Carlene. Thank you guys!

Shane came round and had our house on the market within a day with a number of viewings lined up and we sold the same day! We are now in our forever home and couldn't be happier! Special Thanks to Shane and all at Marks and Mann.

8th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I am so grateful to Vikings for their care and compassion. I initially contacted them for a house valuation for probate purposes. All the members of staff I spoke to were caring and friendly. The valuation was done with sensitivity and care. I then asked them to sell the family home, which was sold professionally and quickly. They provided me with continued support and great communication. I highly recommend Vikings estate agents and wish to particularly thank Jamie.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

8th Apr 2024 (16 days ago)Shocking service. Failed to tell me my buyer's funds were subject to probate or that there was a related sale. This meant I couldn't make an informed choice. They belittled me for not using their preferred conveyancers. They made the whole process more stressful than it needed to be. Avoid.
15th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)The main reason we used Potters estate agent was because of the friendly almost bespoke service that you receive from them. All the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and go above and beyond what's expected. They guided us through the sale of our father's property and made it as easy as possible, especially when the purchaser required extra confirmation regarding some issues, Karen was an excellent mediator. Adam is very professional and kept us informed throughout the process and the company Owner Bradley was there to help too. Potters are a great local estate agents.
12th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Selling my house through another local estate agent and interactions with solicitors in selling and buying process were dire . The only person who kept me sane and seemed to work on behalf of my mother and me and keep communication flowing to ensure completion of purchase was Sally Gara. She was not being paid by us but went above and beyond to help us and to keep other parties on track to secure completion even when our solicitors were taken over by another firm. I would call her our angel in helping us get through and securing a safe home for me and my 92 year old mother.

Weekly updates from the start of marketing, secured us a buyer and then stayed in constant contact with the solicitors and purchasers right up to completion. A really outstanding service.
