During our search we came across various estate agents but known compared to the service Tim and Williams Properties provided us. Tim spent time getting to know us and finding out what we were really looking for; he really made the experience personal and enjoyable and it was lovely to get to know him a little. What really stood out was how friendly and approachable everyone was. Moving house can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel smooth and manageable. They were always quick to respond, kept us well informed at every stage, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Their professionalism was clear throughout, but it was their genuinely warm and supportive attitude that made the biggest difference. It felt like they truly cared about helping us move, rather than just treating it as another transaction. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. A fantastic experience all round.

Others in the team stepped in when Madelaine was not available, and maintained the positive experience for us. The agent, of course, works for the vendor - but Alexander & Co had the purchaser's interests clearly in focus, and did their best to smooth over issues when they arose during the process.

17th Nov 2025 (20 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.

Very personable, professional, explained things clearly, responded to messages and queries very quickly and all in all made the viewings a pleasure. She also showed me the house that I fell in love with and was very helpful when I made a successful bid.
27th Mar 2026 (9 days ago)6 stars out of 5 if that's even possible. I recently had the pleasure to work with Jack, Taylor and Ellis as part of my house-move. As part of this process (both selling and buying), we came across a number of different agencies, and the Akeman team is easily the most professional, responsive, honest, accommodating and helpful team. From viewings, to deal negotiations, to progressing the sale, they are supportive and transparent at every step. They follow-through with their promises. Bottom line, I never felt the need to "chase" them on anything, and that speaks volumes. They are simply a breath of fresh air after some mixed experience I've had with other estate agents. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell/ let their home in the area to give them a call!
