They are friendly and kept us informed all the time.<br>After our sale, and when we were in the area afterwards, we went in to say hi, and they were so lovely. Smiley, warm people. Directed us to places of interest in the area, and we can't wait to explore the area.<br>Would recommend Chattertons!
6th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)Isabelle, at Jackson-Stops Sevenoaks was recommended to me by a friend. Isabelle and her team did not disappoint, they were professional, incredibly knowledgeable about the area, communicated regularly and were on top of the sale process from start to finish.
17th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)We had ongoing issues with the honesty and support we received from this agency during our purchase. Our independently arranged snagging inspector had a failed visit because the developer forgot the appointment and the property wasn't ready. We were charged £399 by the inspector, in line with his standard terms for a missed visit. Rather than holding the developer accountable, a staff member phoned our inspector and questioned his honesty about how the booking was made. The inspector later told us this in writing himself, describing it as "concerning." Only after he pushed back with a clear account of events did the agency admit in writing that we "certainly shouldn't be charged for a service that wasn't carried out," but no resolution was actually offered. Separately, when we queried being asked to cover the developer's solicitor's fees, our own solicitor had already explained the general process to us. Our concern was that the developer wasn't following up as agreed to justify the specific charge. Despite this, we were told the agency was "surprised our solicitor hadn't explained it", which wasn't accurate, since it had been explained. Our actual query was never properly addressed. Our experience was that when we raised legitimate concerns, the agency's instinct was to defend the developer rather than engage honestly with what we were telling them.

He is incredibly sharp and knowledgable within his job, and was patient with me every step of the way. You can see he has a very kind soul which is rare nowadays, and it was a pleasure to work with him. Highly recommended

16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Using an independent Estate Agents when selling a property has huge advantages.<br><br>They really know the local market inside out, they are realistic with valuations and work really hard to make sure a property sells. Invicta Estate Agents were certainly able to fulfil the brief.<br><br>In contrast I have found corporate chains tend to use inflated and unrealistic valuations at the outset to secure a client, leading to continued disappointment when there are limited or no viewings.<br><br>The team at Invicta Estate Agents were supportive throughout the process, responding promptly to answer all of my queries as the sale progressed through to completion.<br><br>A lovely touch, when a buyer was found was the sign attached to the For Sale board stating “Spoken For” which made me smile as I pulled up outside of my property.

I was viewing on my own with two small children and she accommodated us fantastically and kept my eldest entertained so I could focus on the property. She was incredibly caring and no questions were too much to ask.

27th Oct 2026 (5 days ago)Hawkesford James sold my Mother in Laws property and because of their professionalism I chose them to sell my mother's property. From start to finish I have been kept up to date by the very professional, helpful and friendly team, nothing being too much trouble. I am so pleased we picked them instead of one of the other chain Estate Agents, more personable and felt they were more friends than people running a business. I highly recommend using them.
7th Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)When it comes to choosing an estate agent, it is imperative that you select an agent that is capable of delivering all aspects of the sales process. Finding the buyer(s), managing the offer(s) and getting to a sales memorandum is only the start and in many cases the easy bit! What happens next is where the magic happens and where Fine&Country excel. Many property sales these days involve buyers conducting multiple surveys; building, electrical, gas, oil, solar, drains, sewage, water products eg pools, jacuzzi, wood burner/chimney, radon gas. The output from these surveys can be overwhelming for both the potential buyers and sellers. Fine&Country help manage the resulting back and forth enquiries both professionally and with care, ensuring both parties remain engaged and that sensible outcomes are achieved. Many other Agencies would leave this process entirely between the buyer and seller which could either dramatically increase the time to completion or worst case result in no sale. Fine&Country level of care throughout the sale process is exemplary and I highly recommend them to get the job done, so like us, you can move on with your life!

5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)The team were very friendly and helpful. It wasn’t a good time to sell but they set our expectations and kept us in the loop an appropriate amount. We couldn’t sell so it is hard to judge the agents’ performance across the whole process. The viewings we had were not particularly productive - a few of them could have been avoided by some simple questions about budget and some information about the house and area, which would have saved us the stress of a pointless viewing.

This is the 3rd time I have used them, for very good reason, they are excellent at what they do: We were made to feel confident and comfortable throughout the sale.<br>Once the brochure had been published (on every major online platform,) they arranged many viewings, always keeping us up to date with viewer feedback and providing useful advice along the way.<br>After we had accepted an offer, (we had several,) we were regularly kept up to date with sale progression, the staff being particularly good at solicitor liaison, making sure all the parties involved in the chain were kept informed of the various complexities as they arose. All the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and approachable.<br>Really happy with the service and I thoroughly recommend using Christopher Hodgson if you are selling in the Whitstable/Tankerton area.

Throughout the process Caroline and her team were easy to contact, friendly and responsive. Nothing felt like too much trouble. A professional and yet personal company.

16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Valuation and actual property advert was initially 10k difference. I challenged this and after some time managed to get it back to valuation, which we sold at. We could have lost 10k due to this. Other communication errors throughout the selling process gave us concern and we didn’t have the best experience with their recommended solicitor either.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for better service and would highly recommend Rob to anyone looking to sell their property.
