In all my years of dealing with Estate Agents i have never met such a professional, knowledgeable and simply lovely agent. Thank you so much for making our viewing such a pleasureable experience!
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

Although the process took some time, I’m really pleased that the sale has finally gone through and I can move on to the next chapter of my life! ?????? I truly appreciate all their support.

30th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)To be fair I did not know about BenSiggins until I signed up with GetAgent. Kevin Dennett was my main point of contact. I had a meeting with him and he explained everything that I needed to know in a short space of time. He was very professional as were the other people at BenSiggins that I had contact with. My late parent’s house was put on the market very shortly after our meeting. There were several viewings during the next two to three weeks. I had a reasonable offer from a first time buyer with no chain at all and I accepted it. This was all done within 6 weeks or so. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending BenSiggins and would defiantly use them again in the future should the need arise. Steve Rebindaine

Everytime we have an issue or any concern that we raise Harry would do anything that he could to give us a quick answer and we're very happy as tenants with his overall performance. 5th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)Very irritating experience. As shown in my screenshot, I have received several calls from you, and every single time I have clearly told you YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER. I am not selling a property — I was only a tenant. Each time, you apologise, promise my number will be removed, and then claim “the system takes time to update.” Really? 3 -8 months? That excuse is wearing thin. Your last call was on Monday, where I was again reassured that my number would finally be taken off your system. To stop the disturbance during my workday, I even blocked your number — yet unbelievably, you still managed to leave me a voicemail today - your contact even seems to be increasing! At this point, your persistence feels relentless, intrusive, and completely unacceptable. For the sake of my sanity: Remove, delete, and block my number from your system immediately. This whole situation could have been avoided if you had simply done what you said you would do the first time. Instead, I’m left dealing with behaviour that comes across as either spiteful or incompetent. P.S I am for some reason unable to attach the screenshot of the call log of harassment!

7th Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)When it comes to choosing an estate agent, it is imperative that you select an agent that is capable of delivering all aspects of the sales process. Finding the buyer(s), managing the offer(s) and getting to a sales memorandum is only the start and in many cases the easy bit! What happens next is where the magic happens and where Fine&Country excel. Many property sales these days involve buyers conducting multiple surveys; building, electrical, gas, oil, solar, drains, sewage, water products eg pools, jacuzzi, wood burner/chimney, radon gas. The output from these surveys can be overwhelming for both the potential buyers and sellers. Fine&Country help manage the resulting back and forth enquiries both professionally and with care, ensuring both parties remain engaged and that sensible outcomes are achieved. Many other Agencies would leave this process entirely between the buyer and seller which could either dramatically increase the time to completion or worst case result in no sale. Fine&Country level of care throughout the sale process is exemplary and I highly recommend them to get the job done, so like us, you can move on with your life!
20th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Extremely Poor Experience with Sibley Pares – False Reassurances and Serious Consequences for Our Family<br><br>Our experience with Sibley Pares has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. As first-time buyers with two young children, we trusted their professional advice, and unfortunately, this experience had serious consequences for our family.<br><br>From the very first viewing, we made it absolutely clear that we would only buy the property if it became Freehold. The property was Leasehold, and we specifically explained that purchasing the Freehold and having it transferred to us was a condition of our purchase. The agent confidently assured us that this would definitely happen and that it would take only two to four months.<br><br>We trusted these assurances and proceeded accordingly. Month after month, we were told that things were progressing and that the Freehold would be sorted out very soon. After five months, the seller’s solicitor stopped responding, leaving us without answers and with no clear idea of whether or when the issue would ever be resolved.<br><br>As an estate agency, Sibley Pares should understand the complexities and uncertainties involved in acquiring the Freehold of a Leasehold property. If this process was not straightforward or could take considerably longer than the timeframe we were given, we believe they should have been honest with us from the beginning. We should have been given the opportunity to understand the risks and decide whether we wanted to proceed, rather than being repeatedly reassured that everything would be sorted out shortly.<br><br>The way the situation was handled left us feeling that we were being kept on the hook as potential buyers without being given a realistic picture of what we were facing. We cannot know what the agency’s intentions were, but the repeated assurances and lack of a satisfactory outcome have seriously undermined our trust in them.<br><br>The consequences for our family were devastating. We informed our landlord that we intended to leave, believing that our house purchase would proceed as promised. We ultimately lost the opportunity to secure the property we had been pursuing, endured months of uncertainty, suffered significant financial losses and experienced enormous emotional stress. With two young children, this was far more than a frustrating property transaction. It affected our family’s housing security and forced us to make alternative arrangements and purchase another property.<br><br>First-time buyers rely on estate agents to provide honest information and realistic expectations. We understand that legal processes can be complicated and delays can happen. What we find unacceptable is being given such confident assurances about a fundamental condition of the purchase without, in our experience, receiving a clear explanation of the risks or realistic timescales.<br><br>If Sibley Pares could not be certain that the Freehold would be acquired and transferred within the timeframe suggested, they should never have presented it to us with such confidence. We could then have made an informed decision before putting our existing housing arrangements and our family’s stability at risk.<br><br>I would strongly advise other buyers, especially first-time buyers, not to rely on verbal assurances about a Freehold transfer. Obtain independent legal advice and written confirmation of the arrangements before making major financial or housing decisions.<br><br>This experience has cost us time, money and peace of mind. We feel deeply let down by the way we were treated, and we would not want another family to go through the same ordeal.<br><br>I understand the freehold process is complicated and outside your control. But if you knew this from the beginning, why repeatedly assure us it would take just 2–4 months? As first-time buyers, we trusted your professional advice and made major housing decisions based on your assurances. We expected honesty and realistic timescales, not false confidence. Unfortunately, our trust was misplaced, with serious financial and emotional consequences for our family.

The sale was not an easy one, numerous challenges and hair pulling moments but Hannah & Oliver were tremendous, didn't miss a beat and at every twist & turn were there, proactive, helpful and communicated very openly and honestly. We would highly recommend Savills to everyone - we just hope our next purchase is with Savills.

We both bought and sold through them, and the whole experience was professional, friendly and straight forward from start to finish.<br><br>One thing that really stood out to us when choosing an agent was the quality of their property photographs. They present all their houses beautifully and really set themselves apart from the competition.<br><br>Communication throughout was excellent, and we always felt looked after and kept informed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Damian and Zac. A fantastic service all round x

They have a straight forward, commercial and honest approach and were always on hand if we needed anything. The communication was excellent and we were updated throughout the process. They also have excellent knowledge of the local area. Thank you so much Matt for making a stressful time a lot less stressful!!

Communication was fantastic throughout, and whenever we had a question, we were able to get answers straight away without any chasing or delays.<br><br>We had two house sales and the purchase of our new home all to get over the line, which was no small task, but the team went above and beyond to help make it happen. They were proactive, supportive and clearly committed to getting everything across the finish line for us.<br><br>Moving house can be incredibly stressful, especially when there are multiple transactions involved, but they made us feel supported every step of the way. A special thank you to Amelia, who has been exceptionally patient and supportive throughout the selling process. It has not been the most straightforward journey from our side as this was an inheritance, and we have really appreciated her understanding and support as we approach completion. We would highly recommend Amelia and the Grove Green team to anyone looking to sell their home.
