From the very first viewing all the way through to the final paperwork and handover of keys, she was consistently professional, attentive, and incredibly supportive. She paid close attention to every detail and ensured that all logistics were handled smoothly and efficiently. What really stood out was her clear communication and reassurance at every stage. She made sure I was informed and comfortable with each step of the process. Although there were moments when things felt a bit stressful, her calm approach and ability to manage every stage so effectively made the experience much more manageable. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything stayed on track. I’m sincerely grateful for all her hard work and dedication, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and committed estate agent.

They also helped me find my onward purchase and I am due to move into my dream home in the next few months. Communication has been perfect at every step of the way, Lydia & Emily are incredible at their job and I am forever grateful!!

Moving house can be a stressful time, but throughout, Regan made the process stress free with his knowledge, friendly manner, and him regular keeping me up to date with the progress throughout. Nothing was too much trouble for Regan which was so reassuring. I could not have expected any better interaction, and so I can truthfully highly recommend Regan as regards professionalism, and ensuring that any future clients can be assured of a five star service. 11th Mar 2026 (18 days ago)Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.

13th Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Sold my parents house through Alexander Lawrence, they were recommended by Chat GPT when I asked for a top 3. I chose them due to having sold similar houses close by and gut feeling. Honestly it could not have gone better, I was lucky enough to get multiple offers from the first viewings, Nick did a great job. Sam kept me up to date with the sale progress better than my Solicitor. Using WhatsApp was so convenient for me. All around they are a great team and I highly recommend them. I would use them again without a second thought.

Considering we were with another estate agents before them, we have never known an estate agent to get back to us so quickly. From the start they have kept communication with us, they have dealt with any little issues super quickly. They were polite and understanding. They ensured our move was smooth and easy and communicated effectively throughout. They have checked in with us already too which is lovely. We have a direct person to communicate any issues with, which is so helpful. At previous estate agents, we had to wait on responses and things would get passed to a different person and we wouldn’t know who to ask for. Charlton brown have been so great, thank you for such an easy transition.

10th May 2022 (3 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.

He also put us onto an excellent solicitor who always kept us unto date with progress. Overall marketing of our property was good with Ariel views and good internal photos.

The marketing was of a very high standard and we were very pleased with how our property was presented and marketed. Sharon was always friendly and genuinely a pleasure to work with. Communication especially was really good throughout the process. Regular updates and dialogue definitely helped make a potentially stressful process a lot more easier to manage. 17th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.

Jon, Jeremy and especially Omar were all brilliant from start to finish. Their pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes we received, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service — nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality of the photographs was outstanding and really showcased our property at its best. Above all, they’re just genuinely great people — honest, professional, and full of integrity.
