6th Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)Phoned up to enquire on a property they had advised for sale met with a complete lack of interest from the staff member who was not only rude but dismissive, fortunately the house is advertised with another agent where we have been able to since view the property with no hassle! If you are thinking of selling or looking to buy completely avoid these bunch of clowns.
14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Wouldn’t use this agent again to help find a property. Communication was very poor throughout the process. We viewed a property back in February and were initially told the landlord wouldn’t accept our application. Later, after the property had not had many viewings, they accepted an application from us. We were completely transparent from the start about a recently paid-off CCJ. After going through referencing, we were left waiting only to eventually be told the landlord decided not to proceed after another interested party came along. This could and should have been communicated much earlier. The agency seems to prioritise landlord decisions at the expense of customer care and basic communication. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

21st Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)I have had multiple experience with the staff here and can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else. The staff are very professional, provide a great service and are very helpful and polite. Having both purchased and sold with whitegates and experienced superb service each time I though it was only fair that I shout about it so that others will know how good they really are. I only ever recommend them (and yes I have tried others in the past, my worst experience being with a company that has an X in there name). Whitegates however have and are always spot on, you wont go wrong using them. Thank you to everyone there for the years of amazing service.

30th Aug 2021 (4 years ago)I would definitely use lighthouse estate agents again in the future. I have only sold a property through them but I found Simon very helpful and courteous and was able to make contact at any time with him and get good sound advice. Would definitely recommend!

They made everything feel smooth and stress-free, always keeping me informed and providing clear, helpful guidance. Their knowledge and attention to detail really stood out, and it was clear they are committed to delivering a high standard of service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was handled with great care and professionalism. 18th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

She is so personable and from the moment you meet her, you know that you are in good hands. Within a day, my own property was on the market and attracting viewings, and I genuinely feel she went above and beyond to secure a sale for me. The video she posted on social media was incredible and received more views and kind comments than I ever expected. My house wasn't up for sale long but throughout the process, Lora kept me informed and booked viewings in swiftly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Lora. Once the sale was agreed, her support didn’t stop. She continued to exceed expectations, staying closely involved to ensure the move progressed quickly and smoothly. Throughout the entire process, I felt fully guided, supported, and advised. Lora’s dedication and care made a real difference, and I’m truly grateful for everything she did. Thank you again!
