Whenever I raised a question/query he would get it sorted out and get back to me very quickly the same day. Adam was also very helpful. Thankyou Gareth, you’ve made a stressful process much easier.

28th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)We had an extremely disappointing experience with Brown & Co Estate Agents during the end of our tenancy.<br><br>They tried to claim a substantial amount from my deposit for issues that were entirely unreasonable, including the removal of an item of furniture that actually belonged to the property owner, alleged missing lightbulbs, and professional cleaning charges for the entire property including carpets that were nearly 20 years old and beyond life expectancy. Many of the deductions appeared to be aimed at improving the property for the landlord to sell, rather than fairly addressing genuine tenant wear and tear. It was particularly concerning that some of the extra items and the amount of money being claimed were added to throughout the process. The claims presented before and during the DPS dispute process were not entirely consistent, which raised questions about the validity of some of the deductions being sought.<br><br>Throughout the dispute, Josh Bailey's communication was often awkward with no negotiation skills, and there was a clear attempt to pursue claims for betterment rather than what was fair and reasonable under tenancy deposit rules. Rather than acting as an impartial agent, it seemed there was a deliberate focus on maximising the return to the landlord.<br><br>We were also disappointed by his handling of a small area of mould around the faulty hob extractor fan, as the problem was not addressed fairly or appropriately.<br><br>Fortunately, the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) reviewed the evidence independently and saw through many of the claims being made. The adjudicator recognised that the property had not been professionally cleaned when we moved in and rejected a significant proportion of the deductions being sought from our deposit.<br><br>Overall, the experience left us with little confidence in Brown & Co's ability to deal fairly and objectively with tenants. My advice to anyone renting through this agency would be to take extensive photographs at check-in and check-out, keep detailed records of all communication, and not be afraid to challenge deposit deductions through the DPS if you believe they are unfair.<br><br>Based on my experience, I would not recommend Brown & Co Estate Agents.
21st Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Highly recommend Hind Estates for selling a house in Lutterworth area. Both Kate and James are fantastic - so professional and knowledgeable. The service from initial enquiry to completion of sale was as stress-free as possible and we were fully informed at every stage. They liased with the buyer and all solicitors to ensure everything happened within the required time frame. Very happy with the service and all the advice provided.

Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.

He has been professional, friendly, helpful and very responsive whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance. He has made what can normally be quite a stressful process feel much easier and more straightforward. I really appreciate his communication and support so far and would definitely recommend Harry to anyone looking for a reliable and helpful letting agent.

Five StarsI cannot thank the team at Bycroft Estate Agents in Great Yarmouth enough, especially Michele, for their incredible dedication and perseverance.We had an incredibly unique and difficult property to sell—a bespoke, one-off built house with an attached mill. Because it was such a niche property, we knew it would take a special buyer. The process ended up taking nearly two years, during which we faced the heartbreaking setback of our first buyer's chain breaking down.Despite the long journey, Michele never gave up. She kept pushing, stayed incredibly proactive, and successfully secured two sales for us, leading to our final completion.Michele worked tirelessly over those two years to make this happen. Her communication, emotional support, and sheer hard work made all the difference in getting this over the line. If you are selling a property in the area—especially a unique one—I highly recommend Bycroft. Thank you, Michele!
3rd Aug 2026 (8 weeks ago)We chose Hubbards as we were impressed with their positivity when we initially spoke with different members of staff, something we missed in the agency we were initially with. However the volume of viewings forecast did not materialise, there was no one contact person who seemed to manage the case and email communication was not great. We also felt we were being pressed to make decisions that we felt were not fair to the other agent. When we notified them by email that we had sold with the other agent it wasn’t even acknowledged.

They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and, most importantly, always there when we needed them.<br><br>The whole process was handled brilliantly. Communication was excellent throughout, we were kept informed at every stage, and whenever the inevitable stresses of moving house cropped up, we always felt we had someone on our side helping to keep things moving.<br><br>What really stood out was the personal service. 9th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)I had a brilliant experience with Winkworth, they made selling our property and purchasing our new one as easy as they could. The whole team were brilliant however in particular James who assisted with selling our property ensured this was dealt with as quickly and stress free as possible and with the least inconvenience to us whilst arranging viewings. Jade who supported after an offer had been accepted until completion was very responsive and happy to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this company.

Excellent communication throughout the whole process via the whatsapp group they set up - answering questions and giving immediate feedback on viewings. This made it so easy to contact them at any time making it a lot less stressful. 5* service from start to finish. Thank you for all your help and support
