Their communication after the initial sale was really first class and the after sales team kept us up to date when news came. They were equally as frustrated as we were with all the solicitors involved in the sale and I am still at a loss as to why that process took nearly 6 months! First class service from start to finish from Charters though

From the very beginning, the team was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. They took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and guided me through every step of the process with clear communication and patience. The whole experience felt smooth and well-managed, and I always felt like I was in good hands. They were quick to respond to any questions and made what can often be a stressful process feel much easier and more straightforward. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent in the Portsmouth area. Excellent service from start to finish.

When selling my late father’s property they were caring, friendly and efficient and even when we lost our first buyer they reassured us that they would find a new buyer and they did ?????? The application process was handled efficiently, communication was clear throughout, and everything was well organised right up to key handover. Big shoutout to Sam. He was responsive, professional, and on top of things the whole time, making the process easy and stress free. Definitely a great experience overall.

Not only did we receive advice and suggestions, she also did research on questions we asked her. Chambers agency is a huge relief after dealing with some other agencies!!!
2nd Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)They over value every property. Just look at how long they take to sell. Joke - Charters are another agent that over value and give sellers false hope and it just wastes time. Buyers are savvy nowadays! When are these two agents going to realise?!

We’ve had some negative experiences with other agents previously but Phil has restored our faith! His communication, knowledge and personable touches made what can be a daunting experience so much more exciting! He has accommodated and rooted for us - even to the point of consciously making an effort to make this experience just as exciting for our 4 year old! We viewed with Becky and, although the house wasn't in the best state at the time, she was incredibly friendly and accommodating in helping us see the potential in a lovely home. We then were helped by Emily throughout the referencing process, who was responsive, professional and a really valuable contact for any questions we had. The whole process has been seamless, and the cottage was professionally cleaned and in a great condition on move in day, as promised.

Phil was the agent I purchased my property from and from start to finish he did everything in his power to get the whole chain to complete, going over and above considering he was not my selling agent. We had a very tight deadline and if it wasn’t for Phil being proactive, I’m not sure it would have happened. If I ever was to move again, I would definitely use Phil and would recommend him to everyone.
