15th Jul 2026 (19 days ago)We entrusted Edward (Ed) Sargeant of Batcheller Monkhouse to sell a vacant property which was subject to an AOC (agricultural occupancy condition) - not straight forward. From initial instructions through to completion Ed handled the transaction with true professionalism; I would strongly recommend Ed/Batcheller Monkhouse as a solid and trustworthy agent.
31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

They worked in our interest at all times and were particularly effective in the final stages when communications between all parties were required. 20th Jun 2025 (1 year ago)I would highly recommend Peter from RH & RW Cluttons in Petworth. Peter never failed to update me daily with emails, even working into the night to make sure I was aware of every progress. He was there at the end of the phone with any concerns and made sure he went out of his way to find the answer. He even phoned me on WhatsApp whilst holidaying in USA when we were having issues dialling out. He was sensitive and caring to our needs as a purchaser and to his clients and passionate about doing a good job, you can tell, he really does care! Nothing was too much trouble and he was always there to help. Thank you Peter for helping us with our beautiful, new home!

Neil and Angus were incredibly professional, had great communication and I would definitely recommended and use them personally again in the future.

1st Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)The best experience that I have had with a lettings agency. Professional yet friendly. Lisa went above and way beyond the service that I expected. She turned the rental around very quickly and connected me with people in the local area. Helen was also great and stepped in when Lisa was out on a visit. Lisa has followed up with me without having to be chased. Lisa and Helen both explained processes clearly and made me feel comfortable to come back with any questions. First class experience.

The images to support my sale were some of the best I've ever seen, with additional video and drone images of the area. His narrative to describe my home was engaging not just a bland description of a room. He understood that you are not just selling a property but a lifestyle. I cannot rate him high enough.

Our sale was not without problems and they went the extra mile to help solve these problems. Aaron, in particular deserves a mention, he monitored the sale daily and kept an eye on the progress and any problems that arose, so he was on them immediately.
