22nd Dec 2025 (7 mo. ago)I have worked with Irwin & Scott over the past 18 months, during which time they rented, managed and ultimately sold my property, which has recently completed. The team have been fantastic across both the lettings and sales sides and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for an estate agent in the area. They were instrumental in getting the sale over the line, assisting with coordinating quotes from contractors following the survey and keeping both myself and the buyer fully informed throughout the process.

15th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)I would genuinely recommend using Truepenny’s Charlton if you want to sell your property. From the initial valuation (which was much more realistic that other overly inflated figures from other estate agents) the service by the team in the Charlton branch was excellent. We were trying to sell our flat in an already difficult market but Bhavi and David secured many viewings over the summer and finally an offer was made. The team were always available to help and nudge things along. I’d happily use them again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AS A BUYER - AVOID HAMPTONS!??<br><br>Called their Blackheath office to book a viewing to see Masons Hill, Woolwich.<br><br>We agreed to view on 4 Saturday July at 11:15 a.m but Susan called later and told me she couldn't accommodate me at 11.15am. I explained to her that I have many viewings lined up the next two Saturdays as I live far and I cannot come in earlier or attend during weekdays.<br><br>I explained that I am a full cash buyer. Later, the woman said you're not special. We have many fully cash buyers. Needless to say fully cash buyers, no mortgage is actually rare so Susan is being deceitful and is not operating in line with the Ombudsman Code of Conduct and have reported this to the Ombudsman.<br><br>Susan was rude, obnoxious and unpleasant to deal with. Rather than being or taking the sympathetic approach, she takes the direct and rude approach.<br><br>Horrendous experience as a prospective full cash buyer and have second thoughts on viewing properties with Hamptons.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

26th Aug 2025 (11 mo. ago)I would not recommend originally rung up and told there were more than one interested in property and that X was was best option as he had the money in place and was just waiting for money to arrive from parents. He put in an offer and asked me to take it off the market for two weeks so that he would have the money and we agreed on around 25 Feb on the basis that this would be a quick sale and was expecting that contracts could be exchanged by the beginning of May. I signed my part of the contract on 7 may and after that constant false promises about X being ready to exchange contracts - do not know who was lying client X / client solicitor/estate agent but it turns out X had a flat to sell and that there were problems with the lease on his flat and after many false promises contracts were not exchanged until the beginning of August. At the end of the day I do not know who was lying but had I known at the outset that he had a property to sell then I would have considered the other interested parties and their offers and had I known in early May he had issues with the lease on his property I would have re marketed the property On 31 July 19 days before sale was told "you will now begin to hear from our Sales Support Manager, Sandra. She will introduce herself shortly and will be your primary point of contact moving forward .......She will be in touch regularly" I did not receive any call from this lady at all regular communication with the estate agent was also far from perfect on occasions with calls emails not returned/replied

He’s also been very lovely and friendly, and always on hand when we needed support, which has made everything feel easy and well organised. We’re very grateful for his help and would really recommend!

He was highly organised, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly carried out thorough research before offering advice - everything was backed by insight, rather than guesswork.<br><br>His communication was excellent throughout the entire process: responsive, transparent, and professional. What impressed me most was the personal service. Unlike my previous experiences with larger high-street and franchise estate agents, I never felt like just another client. The difference in the level of care, attention, and expertise was genuinely noticeable.<br><br>I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Akash to anyone looking to buy or sell property. 15th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)I have been iffy about Your move in the past i have to admit, they just seemed to the best choice amongst a bad lot which is Real Estate Agents (now you can be sure my review is real and not bot generated!) but the current team is just over and above exceeding expectations. We are based in Australia and UK agents charge a percentage fee that is not allowed in Australia so I have been consistently annoyed in the past with substandard service for that fee. HOWEVER. The current team who helps us (and help is too small a word, i will elaborate below) of REBECCA RUBY AND POPPY are phenomenal. All the things I expect them to do are done promptly with swift communication such as but not limited to - handing keys to contractors or friends, checking mail that still comes to me, organising viewings, taking photos on entry and exit of tenants, setting realistic price expectations with me, vetting tenants and putting them into the property. Above and beyond they actively advised me when laws were about to change and recalcitrant tenants who weren't paying rent needed to be served and gave me the concise pros and cons with getting rental income protection insurance. Previously I would organise gas certificates etc myself as I felt they didn't source competitive quotes but now they provide a range and I am comfortable they are not just tendering to 'mates'. I could not be happier. And hope all 3 stay on as i trust and like them.

19th Jul 2026 (16 days ago)We are first time buyers and we had a brilliant experience with Qasim and Callum. From viewings to basics in mortgage we were covered. They both are knowledgeable and patience with us. We went through a modern auction which requires a fast pace and a lot of quick understanding. We had a great follow up from Qasim throughout the process and got all our questions answered. For a first big step, we couldn’t ask for better professionals.- 16th Mar 2026 (20 weeks ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
