20th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)Most honest valuation.<br><br>I was looking to sell my flat and I spoke to 4 Estate Agents about this. 2 of the 4 missed the appointment without warning and had to reschedule. 3 of the 4 called up and basically just told me what other properties were advertised for on Rightmove (something I can already do).<br><br>The exception to both of these issues was Galloways:<br>1. My tenant greeted the Agent and called me after to say they were professional and very impressed with them. If they gave that impression to the tenant I am sure they would in a sale.<br>2. They gave me a valuation based on an actual recent sale of a property they had recently facilitated which meant, unlike the others, I had confidence in the number as a piece of professional insight rather than something I could Google.<br>3. They sent all this across in nice professional calls and emails.<br><br>In short, while I couldn't go further with their services, they have positioned themselves at the front of my mind with this excellent first step. At least look for a valuation with them. Thanks.
4th May 2026 (14 weeks ago)Our first review mysteriously disappeared, and I wouldn’t usually go to the trouble of leaving another were it not for the genuinely fantastic experience we had with Hamptons. The entire team were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. We were buying a home and Callum was the agent, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better service. He provided us with excellent advice throughout, and we really appreciated the depth of experience he has with the market and the local area. It made such a difference having him and the team to call on. They were genuinely brilliant! We would gladly go through them again, and would recommend to anyone looking to buy in the area.
17th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Deposit withheld on baseless claims, mould ignored for 6 months - DPS ruled fully in our favour<br><br>We rented a flat managed by Century 21 London Central (Rochester Row) for nearly two years; the property was owned by Marmora Ltd. KFH managed the building when we moved in and unfortunately the landlord moved management to Century 21 after a few months.<br>Our experience with agent Dusan Plesko was dreadful from start to finish.<br><br>At the end of our tenancy, Dusan ignored our emails for weeks, responding only after we escalated to the Deposit Protection Service. He then claimed £1,740 of our deposit for an Octopus Energy bill that was addressed to the landlord - not us. We were never Octopus customers; our supply was with OVO, who confirmed in writing that we had no liability to Octopus, and whose bill we have paid in full. At adjudication, Dusan submitted no evidence whatsoever. The DPS ruled fully in our favour. Months of our time wasted on an attempt to take our deposit for someone else's bill.<br><br>During the tenancy, we reported extensive bathroom mould in August 2025 - across the walls and ceiling, with the wall rotting away near the shower. An inspection identified a structural cause (an extractor vent leading nowhere). Instead of fixing it, Dusan replaced a working extractor fan, an unnecessary cost to the landlord which we pointed out at the time, and left the mould untreated. Repairs were finally done in late January 2026, conveniently the week before viewings for new tenants began.<br><br>When we offered a 15% rent increase to extend our tenancy, we received no response. Before we moved out the flat was listed for higher than our offer. After we moved out, the flat was listed at exactly the figure we had offered - and let at that price (or lower). We've seen no evidence our offer was ever put to the landlord, the landlord incurred costs related to finding new tenants and lost rent for the period the flat was unoccupied.<br><br>Reading other reviews, our experience isn't unique; inflated deposit claims and ignored maintenance appear repeatedly. Landlords (including Marmora Ltd) should ask serious questions about how their properties and tenants are being handled. Tenants: document everything from day one, and don't hesitate to go straight to the DPS.

18th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)I cannot recommend these wonderful women highly enough.<br><br>We sold our first flat through them, then purchased and later sold our house through them too. They are professional to a tee. Valuations are realistic, they maintain integrity throughout the sale, and they go the extra mile. Suzannah progressed our sale and was amazing at ensuring we exchanged on time, whilst keeping the agents for my onward purchase happy.<br><br>I’m a property investor and home owner, with experience of many local and national agents. These are by far the best ones I’ve ever worked with.<br><br>Thanks so much to all the team!

What really stood out was the good knowledge of both the building and the area (not an experience I had with other estate agents!). I also felt throughout the process they helped in smoothing things over, right to the very end. Would definitely recommend!

17th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)We were very happy with the services provided by McMahon & Partners. As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.

Pamela is our main contact, very professional, communicative, knowledgeable and on top of the whole process - would highly recommend her as an agent. She showed us the property and explained everything in depth and clearly. She’s also very responsive on WhatsApp to all of our questions, which has been very very helpful. Overall, would recommend Fraser & Co Shoreditch, and ask for Pamela if you can!

He took time to understand our needs, was always on hand to take our phone calls, completely transparent and able to help navigate us through the sale using his years of experience.<br><br>He found us a buyer within the first week of us speaking to him and they had even put in an offer. He then found us our eventual buyers who were the best buyers anyone could have asked for.<br><br>Everything went through smoothly, within the time frame we were hoping and we completed without any major delays or hiccups.<br><br>Thank you Mark and Cow & Co.

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.

He has been friendly, professional and incredibly responsive throughout both the move-in process and our tenancy. Any maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, and he consistently went out of his way to help whenever needed. His open, transparent and proactive approach made everything straightforward and seamless, which made a real difference. We’d happily recommend him to anyone looking to rent a property.

Given the positive experience, we also chose Alex from SoH to bring our existing home on the market. Alex managed to find us great buyers within a few days. The entire process from taking marketing photos to completion took less than 2 months and had zero hiccups. From a buyer's and a seller's perspective, Alex was incredibly hard working and we very much appreciated that he always accommodated viewings & meetings on weekends and late evenings!
4th Mar 2026 (23 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.

The stresses of purchasing a house were removed by the professionalism and attentiveness shown to us. If I was looking to purchase in London Joseph would be my first call.

17th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)The experience of finding the flat and securing the contract was great! Shemya was super responsive and answered all my questions. She helped fast?track things so I could move in before a big trip, which was very much appreciated. Because of the rush, though, when I moved in the flat still had unwanted furniture and was dirty (which wasn’t the agency’s fault, but due to a non?compliant previous tenant). That said, they were very responsive and quickly arranged for someone to remove the furniture, allowing me to move in just a couple of hours later. Would give five stars, but I’ve currently been waiting over three weeks for a faulty dripping tap to be fixed with no response so far, so still waiting to see how the management side actually is. Will update this review accordingly in the coming weeks/months.<br><br>EDIT: The lack of response was because my emails were going to junk mailbox! Going up to 5 stars as Roberta has been amazing, super responsive to all my issues and concerns and everything that needs repair has been sorted. Thank you!
