19th Aug 2023 (3 years ago)We did not sell, we have taken it off the market. We were expected to hold our own viewings and didn't get much follow up outside once they happened.
5th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!

We have years of previous experience with other letting agents and I must say that Wendy does stand out for her professional yet friendly approach and how prompt she has been with answering all our enquiries during the letting process. Also, we must mention Julia, who too is very prompt and with a positive attitude, ready to sort necessary things out! Well done Ladies for examplar service and thank you very much for your support!

9th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had 4 Estate Agents come to view my property and was about to give up hope when Ben arrived, I immediately know I would list with B Simmons, continuous communication from Ben and Emily and regular feedback, it did take 18 months to sell but they did not give up hope and kept telling me the right person would come along, and they eventually did, I had regular market updates from Ben and although long they made what some call a stressful situation seemless. Thank you all for your help in the process

1st Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Overall I had a very good experience with Gascoigne-Pees. During the valuation process Tom & Dylan had by far the most positive approach compared to a number of other local estate agents and this was the main reason I opted to sell my apartment with them. Dylan maintained a good level of communication throughout both the sale and onward purchase and was always there on the other end of the phone when ever I had any questions to ask. Thanks all!

21st Mar 2026 (26 weeks ago)Haven’t received any rent as a landlord since December 2025! They refuse to answer the phone, answer emails, answer instagram messages and I am now owed for the outstanding finances. Absolute awful behaviour - do not list your property with them!!!!

31st Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)We were extremely impressed selling our house through Bovingdons this summer, in a difficult market they were persistent, very polite and great communicators. Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
10th Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)Today (12/12/25) at around 09:30 on the M4, one of your drivers driving a Mini, registration LS73 GXC, was continuously using his mobile phone while driving and hogging the middle lane. Once he finished using his phone, his driving became even more concerning. Despite the speed being reduced to 40 mph, he began driving aggressively, flashing other drivers to move faster, and also attempted to undertake other vehicles. His behaviour was reckless and extremely dangerous. Given that this vehicle is displaying full company branding, this reflects very poorly on your business. If you employ drivers like this, it may be worth reconsidering allowing them to operate company-branded vehicles, as it presents a serious risk to public safety and your company’s reputation. I truly wish I had dash cam footage, as I would have reported this incident directly to the police. I hope this matter is taken seriously.
