We have just sold our house via the Benfleet office.<br>We purchased this property via them 8 years ago and returned to sell it 8 years later.<br>Fantastic service from start to finish. From our initial meeting and valuation with Darren to exchange/completion stages with Stephanie everything was seamless.<br>Great communication throughout, never had a problem getting in contact, always answer your calls and always provided updates/regular feedback.<br>All staff were polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very quick to arrange/confirm viewings and provide feedback. Anita, Denise and Alex always on hand.<br>Stephanie was great helping us to get to the exchange stage, helping chase solicitors and provide updates.<br>Thank you so much; such a lovely team

20th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Since May 2026 I have rented an apartment that is part of a large 1900s building. In summary from my 1st viewing, items that were going to be fixed prior to tenancy were never fixed. Lots of emails/photos communication but did not result in any action by Reed/ Landlord. Ongoing saga and my recommendation is to avoid as there are far better letting agents in the marketplace. The new rental laws from 1st May allow walking away with 2 months notice which is a great step forward.

We originally went to view a different property, but Martin mentioned that another house would soon be coming onto the market. After viewing it, we fell in love with it and ultimately went on to buy it, so we’re really grateful that he brought it to our attention.<br><br>From the very beginning, Martin was knowledgeable, approachable and a pleasure to deal with. He was never pushy and always made us feel comfortable throughout the process. He went above and beyond to help things progress, regularly communicating with the vendors and both sets of solicitors, particularly when things were moving more slowly than expected.<br><br>Martin and his colleague Mark were instrumental in helping to keep the purchase on track when delays from the solicitors threatened to slow things down. Martin was also a great help when our structural survey raised a few points of concern, liaising with the vendors on our behalf and helping us work through the issues.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Martin or Ashton White to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. Excellent service from start to finish, and a real credit to the estate agency. Thank you, Martin and Mark, for all your help in getting us into our new home!

20th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)If only all estate agents were like Elliott & Smith<br>We recently sold our property with Elliott & Smith and we really appreciated the friendly, efficient and professional manner of all the staff regarding viewings and the whole sales process, we were always kept informed.<br>Zuhre especially, helped us from the day we decided to sell right through to getting the exchange/completion date agreed.<br>Moving is very stressful but Elliott & Smith definitely made it a lot easier it’s just a shame we couldn’t find the right house to buy through them.

They have been so thorough in helping us find somewhere and constantly providing us with options in our price range and requirements, they were also so accommodating with viewings and fitting us in around working hours etc!<br>Katy Tompkin has been an angel and helped us secure our rental property that will now become our first little home! Both Katy and Abby have been so efficient and made the whole process so clear and quick! As first time renters it was so nice to have such a lovely experience! Thank you both! ?????? x

7th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very poor and unprofessional experience. I had two separate appointments booked - Friday and today (Monday) - with a confirmed reservation and a confirmation message. No one showed up on either day and no one called to inform me they weren't coming. When I called to ask, I was simply told they "forgot". Complete lack of respect for the customer's time. I would not recommend this company.

Jacob and Michelle were fantastic with practically instant responses to any enquiries. Jacob marketed the property extremely well and provided great feedback from viewings. He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Alex came round to view the property and was really helpful – explained the whole vetting process properly, gave me great advice, and went through the different options without any pressure. Rose was brilliant behind the scenes too, kept me updated on what I needed and always got back to me quickly whenever I had a question. Both of them made the whole thing feel straightforward and I felt comfortable dealing with them throughout. Would definitely recommend.
