We had to sell my late fathers property, it had been on the market for over 6 months with no offers due to a different estate agent over promising on it. We went with E&S after a recommendation from a friend, and got to say it was the best descion we made. Zurhre was kind, compassionate and understanding from our very first meeting until the end. Within 3 weeks the property sold, and within 6 weeks contracts were exchanged! Always keeping us updated and went above and beyond to help sell our property I cannot recommend them enough, Not all estate agents are the same. Zurhe and all the team at E&S are amazing, thank you for everything

I have heard horror story's of property purchases and despite certain hurdles, they have both kept constant communication and updates upon request of goings on. Definitely recommend- 23rd Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)Would highly recommend the team at Abbotts Rochford. They were extremely helpful and supportive, kept in regular contact and chased replies with the conveyancer and buyers. From meeting Annette at the start who impressed me with her ability to walk around the house, notice all the extras and reassure me the price we proposed was suitable. Then Ben, Eve and Irina who did such a great job showing potential buyers around and helped to sell the property and kept me sane during the stressful times of waiting on searches and all the slow things that delay the exchange, to Chris who started towards the end and was also extremely positive and supportive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others wanting a successful house sale. Thank you

They provided advice on realistic pricing and marketed the property well, securing interest and negotiating a very fair offer. When we encountered a problem with a severe water leak during the cold weather in January, our Agent, Dean Ellis, played a key role in getting the property repaired while retaining the buyer's interest. Dean really went the extra mile for us, arranging contractors, allowing contractor access to the property for us and monitoring/ emptying the dehumidifiers as it dried out. Thanks to Dean the sale was completed on 9th March.

Having sold a house before, we were expecting the process to be a bit slower, but communication was good and things moved along smoothly. They kept us updated when needed and were always happy to answer any questions. We’d happily recommend them!!
22nd May 2021 (5 years ago)If I could of put 0 stars I would of Pointless for this place to be up and running NO ONE and I mean no one ever replies to your emails, they advertise properties yet do not reply when your requesting a viewing Rude ignorant people do not waste your time with them.
16th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)This company Crowstone Estates own the freehold to the block of five flats next door to us in Southend, I understand they also own two of the flats as well. They do not respond to us anymore regarding the maintenance of their back garden for which there is a gigantic Sycamore tree which is so huge now it drops everyday excessive leaves and hard seeds that fill up our whole garden, blocks our gutters, causes excessive shade and bird droppings everywhere. We have requested they cut it on several occasions but they no longer respond. Each week we are sweeping up the tree mess. We have lived here over 12 years and never once have we seen anyone do anything to maintain the back garden and the tree. (They do seem to maintain the front garden however). We actually paid for the tree branches to be cut back which hang over our side however this didn't solve the problem as the tree is so huge it still throws down a huge amount of mess onto our garden. It doesn't seem right to me that you can own land but never maintain it? What do the residents pay their service charges for? This company appears to do work with the Samaritans however this is not in line with how they ignore neighbours and do not nothing about the state of the garden and the Sycamore tree. It is this huge eyesore now that causes mess and misery. I don't know why people don't do the right thing and maintain the tree and the back garden, perhaps because they don't live here they think they can simply get away with no maintenance, but it's not fair or right. I have added some photos of the Sycamore tree to give some kind of idea of the size of this problem and will update as necessary.

I can honestly say I expected it to last twice as long.<br>Megan has been fantastic throughout, offering advice and guidance throughout and made a difficult process very easy.<br>I am 100% sure it would have been a very different experience had we not have been assigned Megan.<br>Thank you for all your hard work. 10th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)We had previously used another supposedly successful/well known/etc. yawn…local agent and were underwhelmed by their lack of energy & interest in helping us sell our Thorpe Bay property. We approached Hendricks & got a very different and positive response. Hendricks are a relatively young but extremely switched-on outfit that knows it needs to perform in order to establish itself. We felt Hendricks listened to us describe our situation and stepped up to ensure an all-round improved customer experience. Brad was an incredible front man - highly responsive from start to finish. Alfie demonstrated real depth of understanding contractually and the combination of their team was highly supportive and led to a very fast offer-to-completion time of 9 weeks! In an industry renowned for its disproportionate share of empty promises we would recommend Hendricks unreservedly.
