After visiting several agencies, this was the only place where I genuinely felt treated as a person rather than just another applicant. Jo was kind, patient, and very understanding, and Jordan was incredibly welcoming and helpful during the viewing, even though I arrived unexpectedly. They both took the time to listen, answer questions, and offer useful advice, which made a big difference. Moving after many years is stressful, but I left feeling much more reassured and positive about the whole process. Even though we didn’t go ahead with the property this time, I’d happily work with them again and highly recommend them.
9th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)I would definitely recommend Thomas if you are looking for a brilliant estate agent. His knowledge, communication and feedback went above and beyond what I had ever expected. He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!
19th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We used Elliot and smith to put our first little home on the market. From the moment they visited and gave a valuation they have been brilliant. They are not unrealistic like some estate agents and they was always at the other end of the phone. Julie, Steve Dan & Zuhre have dealt with our sale so well and was making sure the process was quick and efficient. When there was times of uncertainty in our chain they were so reassuring and supported us in our decisions, in making sure they was the right ones.They really are an incredible bunch of people and so kind and down to earth who have now become good friends of ours. Would ALWAYS highly recommend E&S , they are an absolute credit to the “ Rayleigh estate agent scene” who put in so many hours in the day to make sure their clients receive the best service. Hopefully we don’t have to move again, but if we do, we will without a doubt use Elliot & Smith. Amazing!

27th May 2026 (24 days ago)We requested a valuation. The person who came to visit our property was despondent and showed no interest what so ever in our questions. We were given no information on how the estate agency works the fees. Just a pamphlet show similar properties sold in our area. These were from other estate agents, so the moment they left I arranged for them to visit. Already had fabulous service and communication from the other estate agencies. Awful. Would not want them selling my property. Total lack of enthusiasm and information.

3rd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)After meeting with a number of local estate agents to sell our property, we decided to go with Connells due to their confidence and positive attitude to not only getting the property on the market quick, but also in being able to showcase it to the right prospective buyers. This resulted in a number of viewings and offers. Even through the whole process, which included probate, the team were in contact to guide me through the sale and see it through to completion in approx 3 months. I'm actually surprised at how easy and straightforward it all was, and well within the time frame Harrison and Jack had suggested it would be. Would definitely recommend the team at Connells in Rayleigh.

Having sold a house before, we were expecting the process to be a bit slower, but communication was good and things moved along smoothly. They kept us updated when needed and were always happy to answer any questions. We’d happily recommend them!!

Ross and Georgia (& the rest of the team behind them) were extremely professional, knowledgeable and organised with regular updates and pushing to ensure everything moved ahead steadily. After 2 short chains collapsed with a different agent we lost a year in delays, so I wish we had taken the whole process with Balgores sooner. We would recommend Balgores 100%. She provided updates, and offered support, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Which is a big plus for us as first time buyers. Ms Bonita was genuinely invested in helping us find our dream home. She took the time to understand our needs and preferences, guiding us through every step of the buying process with patience and expertise. We appreciated her honest advice, which helped us make informed decisions without feeling pressured considering the short time scale we had when applying for the mortgage. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ms Bonita to anyone in need of real estate services!

10th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)We had previously used another supposedly successful/well known/etc. yawn…local agent and were underwhelmed by their lack of energy & interest in helping us sell our Thorpe Bay property. We approached Hendricks & got a very different and positive response. Hendricks are a relatively young but extremely switched-on outfit that knows it needs to perform in order to establish itself. We felt Hendricks listened to us describe our situation and stepped up to ensure an all-round improved customer experience. Brad was an incredible front man - highly responsive from start to finish. Alfie demonstrated real depth of understanding contractually and the combination of their team was highly supportive and led to a very fast offer-to-completion time of 9 weeks! In an industry renowned for its disproportionate share of empty promises we would recommend Hendricks unreservedly.
