8th Jun 2026 (12 days ago)A laughable Letting agent where they have the audacity of claiming over 80% of deposit worth over £450 for 'redecoration' purposes for simple wear and tear for a tenancy lived for almost 2 years. After further involvement of external adjudicator, their claim was not successful. Embarrassing really, genuinely left a bitter end to the tenancy. Their measly attempt in scraping up from a student's deposit for pathetic claims, only for their own benefits. Would've posted the laughable images they claimed against, but I will leave it at this. Do better.

Was “accepted” for 2 different properties, passed referencing then paid all deposits, only to be told with both properties that the landlord has apparently changed their mind last minute Went to Belvoir and got into our property after one week Absolutely awful Lettings team bridgefords are 0 communication, rude remarks on the phone and no control over their own properties. Would seriously consider not going with these especially if your first time renters
1st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Would recommend the team here. They were patient, responsive to my needs and very professional. Julie Burdett and Nicola Clegg were particularly helpful with my transaction and supported well by Julie Gomersall when Nicola went on maternity leave. Claire Midgley was also great as a post sale progressor. Despite us and our sellers doing a lot of the communicating directly (through our sellers choice) she was very helpful, attentive, efficient and knowledgeable when I needed her. All round a great personal service and I have recommended them to a number of friends, family and colleagues.

Very quick to help source a suitable property, arrange viewings, the application process was simple, straightforward and hassle free. Turned around in a week, Amazing. The whole team at Cannock have been polite, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you.

There were quite a few complications along the way, but Maddie handled everything professionally, kept us updated, and was always there to help and reassure us. Her support genuinely made a stressful situation much easier. Thank you again — we would highly recommend Reeds Rains!

Cannot fault abode for their professionalism, communication and getting the viewers in to view the house. Always kept us informed on any little matter, viewings and feedback . So pleased we decided to go with abode. Would not hesitate in recommending abode to anyone wanting to sell , buy or rent.

Update completed today and Roberta, Hollie and Jess at the Stafford branch were all so lovely and easy to talk to any one i spoke to was always really helpful but the 3 ladies who i have the pleasure of dealing with the most were always fab thank you
25th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)Update: Maybe I left a low score review because I experienced extremely poor service from your Stafford branch & maybe I didn't leave any comments because I didn't want any further contact as I gave you plenty of opportunities at the time to resolve any issues which you failed to do. Thank you for taking the time to reply but looking at your previous responses to other disgruntled customers, you appear to be not the best at taking criticism nor accepting poor performance on your part. Good day to you.
4th Mar 2026 (15 weeks ago)I had mixed personal reviews prior to my contacting Dourish and Day but I will NOT using them to sell my property as I'm appalled at the "it's not my job" attitude. I will be contacting the estate agency that sold my parents bungalow as they were proactive and cheaper fees! They refused to let myself, or my property agency, know the date/times of Dourish and Day availability for a valuation so an appointment could be arranged with my tenant. They also refused to make ONE phone call and contact the tenant directly as Dourish and Day had misunderstood what my tenant had said upon initial contact. My agent informed me that they have tried making contact but are awaiting a response from Dourish and Day which Dourish and Day have denied. When I requested an update this is the response "We will not move forward until they call us with the tenants availability for us to attend as it is their responsibility to clear things with them."- 29th May 2026 (22 days ago)Claire, Claire, Claire… what can we say? Claire Midgley was our rock throughout a very long and difficult conveyancing process. Working in the industry myself, I can certainly recognise a special agent when I see one and she certainly is a true credit to Dourish & Day. She listened to me rant (probably like a broken record at times) , offered advice and promised me she would chase and subsequently update me… and true to her word she was every single time!! To get the good news call from her personally today was the icing on the cake for me & my partner. Thank you so much Claire for all your help throughout, we appreciate you hugely ??????
26th May 2026 (25 days ago)Very impressed the the weekend and bank holiday that was in place. Viewing on Saturday pre BH Monday left me thinking I would hear nothing else until the Tuesday. How wrong was I? Offer and sale subject to contract all communicated the same weekend . Fabulous service ??????
