3rd Feb 2026 (19 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
27th May 2026 (23 days ago)I wish i had gone with Andrea years ago. I had tried several local agents in the area over the years. Some overvalued my property to win the business or had the viewings conducted by junior staff without much experience. Andrea managed to get a genuine buyer and a successful sale despite the current problems in Central London. Courteous, conducted viewings himself and I wish I had met him and taken his advice years ago.
25th Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)My partner and I had 2 tenancies managed by Jade in Samuel Estates. Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.

20th Feb 2026 (17 weeks ago)I would like to leave a very positive review for Alex at Foxtons Battersea. Alex has been an incredible support throughout the entire sale process. Before working with Foxtons, I was with another agency and unfortunately they were not supportive or helpful at all. The difference with Alex was truly remarkable. He was always professional, kind, and calm — even during the most stressful moments of the sale. He always had a solution ready and made us feel reassured at every stage. What I appreciated the most was his availability. He was always reachable and responsive, even while he was on holiday. We were constantly in touch, and that level of dedication made a huge difference for us. I highly recommend Foxtons Battersea, and especially Alex, to anyone looking to sell their property with confidence and proper support.

7th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing. I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing. My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day. Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered. I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with. To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.
27th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Be very fearful of this agency. When we moved in, their agent Laura confirmed that du to our daughter suffering from pneumonia and having a serious of respiratory issues, the landlord could deal with the mould in property before we moved in. After we moved in they did not deal with it, and they ignored all of our messages relating it. Upon moving out, at the end of the one year term, they assisted the landlord in ensuring there was enough of a grey area where they could claim that we did not give notice for the end of our tenancy properly. As a result, they took an extra months rent, amounting to £5000, and stayed silent through the process whilst we attempted to take this back. At the end of adjudication the landlord ended up taking it, as they’re clear knew what they were doing and ensuring that they could take this money from a young family, despite us having moved out of the property in time, liaising with them to hand over the keys, and the landlord actually staying in the property and making used to the property after we moved out. I have never dealt with such an agency in my life - they knew the landlord would do this and never found it appropriate that once we moved out, the landlord intended to keep our entire deposit sum.

I had the misfortune of losing both of my parents in quick succession, which has led me to dealing with Anthony until only relatively recently. Not only is Anthony dedicated, reliable and personable, but he is clued up about the market expectations and pricing. He delivers without fail and goes above and beyond to help with a kind manner about him. I know why my parents chose him and I have utmost confidence in him as he made a stressful situation seamless.

We actually had two viewings in one day the first just was not for us, second we just knew it was for us. Jacob was friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly personable. What was also very nice he was not pushy at all and it felt like he was trying to help us find what was right for us and not just sell us a house. We were first time buyers and to say we had lots of questions would be an understatement. Jacob assisted us with our questions and queries even if it was something that wasn't a question for an Estate agent pointed is in the right direction. We would definitely recommend Jacob and Orchid Estate Agents for anyone looking to buy.

Andy was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout. His knowledge of the local market was clear, and he provided honest, practical advice that made a real difference. Due to his hard work and determination, we managed to sell our house in a very unstable market, which we are extremely grateful for. Even though the buyers were difficult at times, Andy put real effort into dealing with them and guided both them and us through the process, which helped keep everything moving smoothly.
