The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

The team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to selling our property and securing the best possible price. We would not hesitate to use them again and wholeheartedly recommend them to others, as they truly deliver on their promises—and then some.
26th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)I had a very disappointing experience with a property marketed by John D Wood & Co. Estate Agents (Wandsworth).<br><br>Initially, Poppy Martin was very helpful and responsive throughout the viewing and application process, which gave us confidence in proceeding. However, after our offer was accepted, we were informed that all payments and tenancy arrangements would be handled directly by the landlord rather than the agency. This was never made clear at the outset.<br><br>We had already submitted our personal and financial information to the agent, including payslips, bank statements, passports, proof of address, P60s, and our guarantor’s personal and financial details. Despite this, the landlord requested the same documents again, followed by further demands for over a year’s worth of our guarantor’s financial records, including payslips, bank statements, and P60s.<br><br>We also discovered that deposits were to be paid to a business account managed by a third-party company, which had not been disclosed by the agent. When we requested evidence of their data protection compliance, we were initially provided with an expired certificate and generic documents, which further undermined our confidence.<br><br>At this stage, we no longer felt comfortable sharing additional financial information. As a result, our £311 holding deposit was retained. We felt pressured into providing excessive personal data under the threat of losing our deposit.<br><br>Overall, the process lacked transparency, involved repeated requests for financial and personal information, and left us feeling misled. This was a stressful and disappointing experience, and I hope future applicants are given clearer information before committing to the process.

We're beyond excited with this huge step into our life however without a professional advice ,expertise and extensive experience this could become quite overwhelming as well as losing precious time and also money. Sherie has always been our superstar drive ,engaging herself with the whole process ,going above and beyond to satisfy our customer needs.Answering all questions, being contactable outside office hours.We highly appreciate her devotion to her job as she's been working and contactable on weekends or late afternoon/evenings to reply to my random questions. She recommended to us third parties needed to get involved in the whole process like solicitors, home buying survey agents,mortgage advisors etc and she's been chasing them on our behalf. He was punctual, professional, friendly and incredibly reassuring throughout the viewings. Junior took the time to explain the current market situation clearly and honestly, which I found extremely helpful. He was well prepared, supportive, understanding, and always happy to answer my questions. His knowledge, professionalism, and approachable manner really made a difference and made the whole experience much less stressful. Thank you, Junior, for all your help and support – it was truly appreciated!

He's always been someone I've found to be honest, knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for his clients.<br>More recently, I've dealt with Tom through Hamptons, and the high standard of service has continued. He has built a fantastic team around him who are always professional, responsive and a pleasure to deal with.<br>As a property search agent, it's incredibly important that I can recommend estate agents with confidence. Having worked in the industry myself for many years, I know how rare it is to find people who consistently provide sound advice, experience and exceptional customer service. Tom is definitely one of the good ones.<br>If you're looking to buy or sell a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team at Hamptons.

Within 2 weeks, Mark found me a serious buyer and within 9 weeks we exchanged contracts. Everyone was so responsive and worked hard to push things through quickly. I wish I went with them in the first place! Could not have asked for more.

Having been so impressed with the sale of my first property, I had no hesitation in asking them to handle the sale of a second—and they certainly didn't disappoint.<br><br>Their friendly, personal approach and excellent local knowledge made the whole process straightforward from start to finish. Communication was always prompt and clear, and I always felt they had my best interests at heart. Most impressively, they found a buyer for my second property within just two weeks of it going on the market.<br><br>It's refreshing to deal with an independent estate agent that genuinely cares about its clients and provides such a high level of service.
