She is always quick to respond to emails and questions and very patient in explaining the different processes and time frames to me. Most recently she has helped me arrange a mortgage so I could move down to the coast and she took all the stress out of the situation. She explains options clearly and thoroughly and had regular, friendly check ins throughout the process. Thank you so much!

3rd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

Everyone I've spoken to who has dealt with them has had the worst experiences they've ever had renting. Imagine an estate agent actively trying to undermine and overcharge you at every corner while talking down to you and deliberately flouting the meagre renters rights we have in this country. Lottie and Valerija in particular offer some deeply, concerningly poor "customer service".

The team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to selling our property and securing the best possible price. 7th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing. I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing. My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day. Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered. I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with. To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.
3rd May 2026 (1 day ago)Friendly, professional and super hardworking Estate Agents I trust. Tirelessly getting buyers through our door, the whole team were supportive and encouraging throughout. All focused on making sure we got our sale. I was also fortunate to find my purchase with them. Nadine is a gifted negotiator. She solved every problem thrown at her (and there were many). She managed to keep the chain together and somehow got us all exchanged. Just in time. Honest, fair, persistent and positive. Working with Nadine and the Tooting Winkworth team made a difficult experience, completely manageable. Thank you.
9th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Communication was pretty unprofessional and informal. We didn’t get the sense that the property was getting pushed much as we didn’t have too many viewings, but ultimately they got the property sold at asking so overall happy.

9th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)I have just called this company to get a rough idea of how much a 2 bedroom property would cost in the West Norwood area to buy. I was told that they could not give me anything without a valuation. I said that it was only a rough idea that I required and asked why. The person who answered the phone stated that he did not know who I was. I was only asking a general question and nothing specific. I was really taken back with his answer and attitude. I called a couple of other agents, their answer was much more helpful. I have 2 properties in that area that I am thinking of selling and I will definitely not use Northwood West Norwood. I do not even want to give 1 star.

27th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)Bernardo was fantastic throughout the entire process. From viewing the flat to moving in, everything was completed within just a week, which is incredibly impressive. He handled a tight timeline really well and was proactive, responsive, and clear in his communication throughout. It was obvious he worked hard behind the scenes to get everything over the line quickly, while keeping me reassured at every stage. The whole experience felt seamless, which is rare when moving. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again and highly recommend him. He was also extremely professional throughout, and both landlords and tenants would be lucky to work with him.

What stood out most was the additional support they provided by sharing insights and promoting through social media, which was invaluable during such a difficult market. Their commitment to quality and personal service really shone through and gave us confidence every step of the way. On a personal note, we are very grateful to have been introduced to Hunters which was an extremely difficult time for us. Their professionalism and genuine care made the experience much easier, and we honestly appreciate everything they did. Matthew made the whole process incredibly smooth and stress-free, guiding me step by step and offering support from start to finish. The communication was excellent throughout, which made everything so much easier. Lina and Helen were also lovely to deal with—always more than happy to answer any questions I had along the way. Overall, everyone I interacted with was kind and extremely helpful. I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable estate agent in South West London

1st May 2026 (3 days ago)I think buying and selling a house is stressful enough, and this is why we loved working with Strickland: Jamie and Terence are two REAL people who REALLY cared and did treat our sale and purchase like what it really meant to us, not just another transaction on their schedule. They have been reasonable (honestly, it may sound like an odd compliment but it’s just so hard to find reasonable people these days!), kind, proactive, an absolute pleasure to work with. I did genuinely trust them and I would do so again with no hesitation. The only issue now is that we’ll need to move again to have an excuse to hang out with them! ??????

Their always organised, responsive, and easy to deal with, which makes coordinating cleaning works across properties smooth and efficient. Sam and Chloe have been particularly excellent to work with both are proactive, communicative, and always on top of things. Instructions are clear, access is well managed, and any queries are dealt with quickly, which really helps us deliver a consistent service.
