21st Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)To any freeholders looking to give Stapleton Long the responsibility of managing your property please think twice. As a leaseholder I was subject to the really poor service of Stapleton Long, without any choice in the matter of who our managing agent is.<br>My first complaint is their lack of attention to detail; nearly every account or bill needed triple checking and was often wrong. The details of our lease were ignored and constant checking and reminding was needed.<br>The second complaint would be their lack of action. During our sale we had very slow response times that held up the process and taking action for repairs was even worse. A major roof repair took over a year before any action was taken. I'm still owed money for repairs in an annual service charge that were never carried out.<br><br>In their defence, they were always available to speak to on the phone. But I feel for any other leaseholders who have them as their managing agent.

The team was incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to selling our property and securing the best possible price. We would not hesitate to use them again and wholeheartedly recommend them to others, as they truly deliver on their promises—and then some.

1st Nov 2026 (1 day ago)Whilst everyone was friendly and we had no major issues, communications about upcoming viewings were often poor. More than once we were told a viewing was happening which then didn't (on those occasions we were in the flat ready to vacate if anyone did actually arrive). There were also multiple instances where we had repeatedly asked for confirmation about viewings, and we received no response. However, day-to-day communication aside, we felt we were accurately valued, and have appreciated support deciding what steps to take next.

2nd Oct 2026 (4 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling experience. I called earlier today specifically to confirm that the viewing was still going ahead, and I was told that it was. I left work and travelled 40 minutes to get to the property, only to receive a message five minutes before the viewing informing me that it had been cancelled.<br><br>When I called to ask what had happened, I was told that the landlord had already accepted an offer and that they had apparently known about this for an hour. Yet, nobody bothered to inform me, despite having my contact details and having confirmed the viewing earlier that same day.<br><br>This is an unacceptable level of unprofessionalism and a complete disregard for people’s time. Leaving work and travelling 40 minutes for absolutely nothing, when a simple phone call or message could have prevented it, is incredibly frustrating.<br><br>Based on this experience, I would not trust this agency to handle my time or my property search professionally. The lack of communication and basic courtesy is disgraceful.

He genuinely makes you feel supported and in good hands, and nothing is ever too much trouble for him.<br><br>I really appreciate the way he goes the extra mile to help and his excellent customer service. He was incredibly professional, responsible and reliable throughout the whole process.<br><br>Charlie was always very responsive and quick to reply to messages, which made everything so much easier and less stressful. He was proactive, attentive to details, and always happy to help whenever we had questions or needed something sorted.<br><br>What I appreciated most was how dependable he was — you always felt that things were being properly taken care of. He made the whole process smooth and straightforward from start to finish.<br><br>Excellent service and a genuinely great agent to work with. I would definitely recommend Charlie to anyone looking for a professional, efficient and trustworthy agent. Thank you so much, Charlie!

Our first clue should have been the fact that they lied about what furniture would actually be in the flat, which we didn't find out about until we had our offer accepted. Even then, they still wouldn't put the promised furniture in, but gave an insulting "financial contribution" which still left us with a heavy price to pay.<br><br>At the end of our tenancy they turned aggressively accusatory, claiming we had not returned our keys, when it turns out they just hadn't checked their own post box or actually spoken to other members of their own team to confirm we had in fact returned them.<br><br>Then, as a final kicker, our deposit return was delayed and when questioned on this they became combative and passive aggressive.<br><br>Steer clear.

He has always been happy to help with any questions, offer advice and provide support whenever needed. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and his friendly, professional approach has made the whole experience so much easier. Their sales strategy led to 7 offers in one WE, and it wasn’t an easy house to sell either as it had been lived in for 50+ years and had its share of clutter and zero maintenance. Justin supported all the way through the sales process, was always available to help, and personally visited to get documents signed. I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you
