23rd Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)We worked with this agency during our home purchase process in 2025. Throughout what is already a stressful experience, there were far too many unknowns left unaddressed. More concerning was the consistent gap between what was communicated to us verbally and what ultimately came to fruition. Beyond the factual inconsistencies, the manner in which we were dealt with - both in face-to-face meetings and over email - was dismissive and lacking in constructive communication. We did not feel respected as clients, and the tone used toward us on multiple occasions fell well below the standard of professionalism we would expect from anyone in this industry.

When I am in the US, it is important to me that my property in the UK is managed professionally and at a reasonable cost. Oliver Burn and Aldo-Marco, their Senior Property Management & Accounts Manager is on-it, both for routine and/or exceptional circumstances. Importantly, Oliver Burn support my tenants so that my property is looked after. If you are looking for property management, especially when out of the country, I recommend Oliver Burn.

I've been a client of Tate for more than fifteen years. I can't fault them. It's a small team but an incredibly responsive and effective one. The firm has been on the ground in Battersea/Nine Elms for more than two decades so they know the area better than any competitor could ever hope to. From a personal perspective Tate understands my property and my priorities more than a larger agency ever could. This gives me peace of mind: I know that my needs and the needs of my tenants will be met promptly at all times. I also know from experience of other agencies in London and elsewhere that they are great value for money. I would heartily recommend Paul and the team.

Very responsive to our needs, easy to communicate with and when we came to give up renting and buy, she was really very flexible with helping us to do that with move out dates etc! I could not recommend Alvares Estates more, thank you Malissa!

Ismail failed to disclose to me that the property was also on the market to be sold. Unethical knowing this and not telling me before signing lease, moving in and buying furniture for the space. Not illegal, but definitely unethical. Proceed with caution with this company.- 1st Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)Rebecca and Tiffany have been absolutely lovely in helping with my apartment search. There was less than one hour between Rebecca responding to my inquiry and my viewing with Tiffany was less! I was extremely pleased with their fast replies and professionalism, I definitely recommend starting here if you’re planning a move.

Charlotte took time to understand my key points of what I was looking for in a house to ensure the viewings were relevant and efficient use of my time. A true delight to work with and I would recommend Charlotte as an agent to anyone looking for their next property.

James French and Tim Buckley were so helpful and always available to speak on the phone. Compared to other estate agents who pass you from pillar to post, James and Tim were amazing. Even after the sale completed, was kind enough to help with a question I had, would definitely recommend!
4th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment booked to view a shop and had to take time off work to attend. I drove 45 minutes to the location, but when I arrived there was no one there to meet me or open the property, I contacted the office, only to be told that they had forgotten about the appointment and asked me to rearrange for another day. This was a complete waste of my time and very unprofessional. I hope they improve their communication and organisation so this doesn’t happen to others.

I had to move out within just over two weeks, and even when he got lost trying to find the property, he waited until my partner and I arrived and gave us a full tour. He was fast, transparent, and clear with every step of the renting process. He patiently waited for my workplace to confirm my start date and reassured me throughout. He has been my direct point of contact whenever anything has come up, and since moving in at the end of February, everything has been peaceful. Truly grateful for his support.
