I experienced an incredibly difficult and complex situation trying to secure my rental property, and it easily could have fallen through if it wasn’t for Hamza’s support and sheer determination. What truly set Hamza apart was the way he built a genuine relationship with both me and the landlord. By earning trust on both sides, he was able to successfully bridge the gap and push through every single hurdle. He completely went the extra mile for me, chasing the paperwork and refusing to give up until the keys were in my hand. His communication was flawless throughout a stressful situation, and his commitment to his clients is unmatched. From day one through to the day I moved out, Chris and his team were incredibly responsive, reliable, and a pleasure to deal with. Whenever a maintenance issue arose, it was handled promptly and efficiently. I am incredibly grateful for their consistent support over the years. They truly took the stress out of renting, and I could not recommend them highly enough to both prospective tenants looking for a seamless experience and landlords seeking an agency that genuinely cares. 7th Apr 2021 (5 years ago)Took my money, informed me that the flat is off the market and I am still chasing them up for the refund. After I posted a review on google, suddenly they had the time to finally call me back. Not to refund my money though, to ask me why I posted a bad review and still no answer on when I will get my £400 back! Scammers!
11th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)Mylako have dealt with my concerns and challenges to do with the management of my flat and the building in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Businesses are made up of people and Mylako has some great professionals working there who take the needs and situations of their customers very seriously and it shows with the correction of issues relating to works needing to be done, accounts to be paid and a myriad of other things for which a capable and willing managing agent is essential

9th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)One of the worst letting experiences I’ve had. Poor communication, emails ignored, phones often not answered, and only after days of chasing did we find out the landlord wouldn’t accept a guarantor, despite this being clear from the start. They completely wasted our time and money. - Update, in reponse to owner's comment: Terrible, misleading experience. From day one we clearly stated on the offer form that we needed a guarantor, and your agent Daniel explicitly told us this was fine. You then dragged things out for about a week from the last week of November, taking documents and running checks, only to suddenly claim at the end that “the landlord doesn’t accept a guarantor.” That guarantor requirement was on the original form you sent to the landlord, she accepted the offer on that basis, and I even asked again and you confirmed it was okay. Hiding behind “duty of care” after wasting our time and blocking us from renting elsewhere is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
1st Nov 2026 (1 day ago)99h did not stop advertising my home after the contract ended, which meant that I was unable to respond to any enquiries received, which would have harmed my reputation as a seller. 99h did not always approve details/changes within 48 hours as promised, and resultantly, I missed a boxing day deadline. The staff are very quick to get in touch when selling upgrades or extending contracts, but are very slow to respond to queries. For the sake of £99 it might be worth a try, but keep your expectations low.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.

However, I was extremely disappointed to learn that they consider a person’s religion when deciding whether to rent out a property.<br><br>In my opinion, a person’s religion should never be a factor in deciding whether they are eligible to rent a home. Instead, decisions should be based on relevant factors such as identification, financial ability, and the necessary documentation.<br><br>I sincerely hope the management will take this matter seriously and review their policies to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equally, without discrimination based on religion.

They have a straight forward, commercial and honest approach and were always on hand if we needed anything. The communication was excellent and we were updated throughout the process. They also have excellent knowledge of the local area. Thank you so much Matt for making a stressful time a lot less stressful!!
1st Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)We had heard that selling a house is a stressful experience. However we found that it isn’t, if GianFranco at Hortons is acting for you! From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.
