19th May 2022 (3 years ago)We’re first time buyers and John D Wood were selling the home we were buying. We were shown our new home by George who was lovely. Julian in the team managed everything else, and the man is a saint. I was stressed to say the least between work and trying to buy a house in a short timeframe. No matter how testy I got, he was patient, friendly and supportive. I can’t speak highly enough of Julian, and when we eventually sell in the future he’ll be the first person we go to. Julian thank you so much for your amazing service.
30th Apr 2026 (5 days ago)We recently sold our flat through shaw and co and our entire experience has been absolutely fantastic. Sheetal Suri did the initial valuation and was very polite and informative about the market and how shaw and co would handle the process if we did choose them. Having met a few other estate agents I was convinced that this firm would be the best to go with. We landed an offer within a couple of viewings and from offer accepted to completion Jindra Lall was at hand. She was always assisting us and enabled us the close the transaction quickly. We are really pleased with our whole experience of dealing with shaw and co and would not hesitate to recommend them for any sales.

18th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)Great estate agents , Always sorted any little problems out as soon as possible can’t fault them for the way they conduct themselves and run the business . But only negatives and why it’s not 5 starts Is because they deducted £100 from me for the £200 deep clean, which I spent hours on end and spent about £30 on cleaning equipment getting the place nearly spotless so not sure why they paid £200 for a deep clean when there was only about 30 mins worth of cleaning to be done there was abit of dust on top of a door and extractor fan needed cleaning, I’m sure they could have got someone just to go clean them things instead of paying for deep clean . But it is what it is ,most estate agents do that these days probably so they can show the new tenants it got deep cleaned by professionals ,just seems abit harsh on tenants who leave it in good nick because what’s the point spending all the hours I did leaving it clean if going to get billed for deep clean anyway ? . I agreed to the deduction as overall they’ve been good agents so I don’t want to dispute over £100 and then have to wait ages for deposit .<br>My flat was down an alley way and the restaurants and bin men would leave it a right mess , when I asked John at the start if someone could clean it he said it’s not their problem that bit as don’t own the pathway . I get it’s not there problem as they don’t own the alley way but you’d think if you had flats there you would pay someone to go every 2 weeeks or so to tidy up . So I had to tidy it up a few times myself which I didn’t want to do but had no choice .<br>The flat was excellent and the cheapest on the market for that size imo but the alley way definitely ruined it because it was embarrassing sometimes to get friends around walking through loads of rubbish to get to flat

The team has always been professional and reliable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. A special mention to Kira, who has been incredibly helpful and friendly throughout. She has always responded promptly to any questions, emails, or enquiries I’ve had, and her support has made a real difference over the years. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient estate agent.
24th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)I really wonder how come they have so many 5 stars reviews when they did not prove anything else other than unprofesionalism and unable to schedule viewings. They showed up on a Saturday unannounced and the agents can’t seem to get the times right. No cummunication whatsoever other than the automatic email confirmation. They do not reply to emails and do not care about improving their services. I am running very low on patience because of them and definitely this is not how you should do business.

5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Amazingly bad service We rented a complete owned property for just over 2 years. In that time we had about 5 property managers. This should say all you need to know. Each one not knowing what had gone on before. Given the fact a week before we thought we were moving in we had to chase them to find out nothing had moved forward and they were waiting on us to send documentation (we were not told). Throughout the 2 years they were never really there to help you. After we have left they have tried to keep around 75% of our deposit which is absolutely insane. Missing furniture that never existed in the first place, the most expensive cleaning quote imaginable and £50 to remove a single chair. These are some of the excuses on the quote. Try and avoid complete properties when possible!!
5th Nov 2025 (5 mo. ago)My experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing. From the start, communication was almost impossible — we called and sent several messages for over a week before anyone responded. When someone finally did, they were rude and even hung up on us. Despite that, we gave them another chance and eventually managed to view a property we were genuinely interested in. Throughout the process, there was no accountability, no apology for the poor communication, and very little professionalism. After making an offer, we were told the landlord needed tenants to move in within a week, which was completely unrealistic. We waited days for updates, only to be told later that we should continue our search elsewhere. This entire process wasted two weeks of our time and left us feeling disrespected and frustrated. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this agency unless they seriously improve their communication, professionalism, and respect for clients.

1st Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We’ve just sold a 3 bed penthouse at 500 Chiswick Road. Lewin initially got us hooked in with proactive advice, which got us listing with KF exclusively. Fabienne took over and partnered with us for almost 18 months. Without her help, the sale wouldn’t have happened. Fabienne is a rare find and the whole package: if you were to list your ideal agent, you’d find Fabienne ticks all the boxes. Having spent yrs headhunting talent, I can assert with confidence that she’s got it. Values, humour (and did we need it!), she’s indefatigable, with razor sharp intelligence, she’s thorough, responsible for forging through sizeable roadblocks…I could go on forever. If we ever sell our family home, it wouldn’t occur to us to look elsewhere. In a congested market, she’s head and shoulders above the rest I've ever met.

Jasmine was really personable, answered all my questions (including following up via e-mail as needed), and supported me throughout the process. I am a first time buyer so didn’t know anything about the necessary steps so Jasmine and her colleague (Sandip) helped guide and prepare me throughout. Alan and team really go the extra mile and as something that is often so stressful, all those extra touches make such a difference. Alan kept us up to date all the way through, and helped us over the finish line. The welcome gift box when we received our keys was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

Communication was excellent throughout, and any issues on any side of the chain were dealt with quickly, calmly and effectively. Moving home is often described as one of life’s most stressful experiences, but Stewart genuinely took the stress out of it for us. It was a real pleasure to work with someone so professional, proactive and reassuring — we always felt confident knowing everything was in safe hands and that Stewart had complete command over proceedings.
