14th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)I decided to move to probate properties from your move after 9 months of waiting from another high street estate agent. Comparatively,Sandra is very nice and kind and this estate agent truly know how to complete a sale smoothly. James set the price accurately and his knowledge of valuation is very accurate claims that the property is very popular and has lots of offers and I appreciate . They do check buyers source of income in very detail and I appreciate as this can avoid hiccup in midway of sale and I would recommend any sellers to choose your move james Barrett as your estate agent

23rd May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Wish you could choose your own star rating, we don't think 5 is enough. As soon as Andy came to do our sale valuation we knew we were using KW. Everything is 'discussed' with you, you are never talked down to like the other valuers we asked. We bought and sold with KW, and with one thing after another going wrong this hasn't been the easiest job they've ever done, but Andy and Caz always had a smile on their faces and an encouraging word. We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done. Very very highly recommended.
14th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)I gave Lota property rent one of my property to rent they charge me 10% for look after property but first 2 months regular payment they deposit in my account after 12 months they not deposit in my account when I ask them they said tenant not paying rent so whey they take long 12 months? After I went for the court I won but still tenant not get out in my property I make bailiff appointment after tenant gone but they messed my property I loss 12 months rent also I spend 10k to repair property. Lota property they not been checked property. Before I gave property clean I done new paint and carpet. This pic before rent I gave them.<br><br>After below pic
7th Nov 2019 (6 years ago)Hogans would not do repairs in the property I was living in so I had to move they also had me redecorate the house from top to bottom as I got down to the last room I came off the ladder and fractured my ankle evan then they wanted me to finish the decoration evan tho I had painted 3 of the rooms on more than one occasion due to damp and mold they had also left me over Christmas holidays with no hot water or heating- 23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Knowledgeable estate agent with good understanding of local market. Valuation was spot on with offer received within 2 days. Advertising material was very good. Communication with staff members was good. Estate Agent did not always provide updates via Property Portal thus requiring chaser phone calls that could have been avoided. Fair value for money as prooerty sold so quickly and they had little work to do. Even had to conduct our own viewings as staff not available at appointment times.

26th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)The original estimate was £180k. I moved to a modern auction on their recommendation with an asking price of £120k after no interest. There was not interest at £120k and currently I'm selling the property privately at £95k.
19th Feb 2024 (2 years ago)From start to finish Graeme & Guy provided an excellent, efficient, honest and friendly service from the start through to completion to us moving out the other week. They tell you what should be done, tell you when and how it will be done and deliver. They made the whole experience stress-free, were 100% professional, have an outstanding knowledge of the local property market business with the added bonus of amazing value for money and you can't ask for more than that. 25th May 2026 (17 weeks ago)As first home buyers Walker Smale was great. Simon was always available and accommodating, answering all our questions and liaising between us and the vendors. The team also responded to emails very quickly so there was never a hold up with proceedings.

Straightforward no nonsense application and tenancy set up. Can’t fault them or the service they gave me.<br><br>Wish I could use them for everywhere I rent! 17th Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Absolutely appalling. The worst experience I have ever had with an estate agency.<br><br>We viewed the house in March 2025 and put an offer in just 48 hours later. Despite chasing repeatedly, we couldn't even get a simple answer as to whether our offer had been accepted or rejected for over a month. Through this time we were repeatedly informed a decision would be made the next week but to no avail. Goal posts continued to be moved throughout, 'you need to be on the market' then 'you need to sell your house first' and then finally 'you need to be selling to a cash buyer'.<br><br>Eventually, we moved forward, paid our deposit and got to the stage where the solicitors were dealing with everything. You would think the estate agent's involvement would be relatively straightforward at this point. Apparently not.<br><br>Towards completion, we started receiving up to 5 calls a day from David and Lesa telling us to chase our solicitors and get the purchase completed. This went on for weeks. We both work full-time and were constantly being interrupted by calls and emails from them demanding that we chase professionals who were already dealing with the transaction. We obliged but we should not have been placed in this position.<br><br>We were also repeatedly told that the house would be put back on the market if completion wasn't progressing within days. This was particularly frustrating because, at the same time, the seller's own solicitor was not ready to complete and necessary building documentation had still not been obtained.<br><br>The constant pressure, warnings and attitude throughout the process were completely unnecessary. Buying a house is stressful enough without an estate agent making the situation even more difficult.<br><br>It is also worth mentioning that the seller was a family member of David Phillip and this may have influenced the way the situation was handled. On multiple occasions, the estate agents actively argued in support of the seller's position. This included telling us that the retention was immaterial because the outstanding works would be completed, and separately endorsing the seller’s attempt to increase the agreed price unless we completed within days. Despite repeated assurances from David that he was being objective, the advice and commentary we received was consistently one-sided and far from independent.<br><br>And then came completion day — the absolute disaster that summed up the entire experience.<br><br>Contracts had been exchanged. The sellers had received their money that morning. All we wanted was the keys to the house we'd just bought.<br><br>I spent the entire day calling Lesa and David trying to arrange the key collection. Every time there was another excuse. Eventually, at around 8pm (10 hours after funds transfer), after spending the entire day chasing them, the seller was supposed to meet me at the property. Instead, the keys were left under a rock. To make matters worse, not all of the keys had even been provided, with the garage fobs omitted entirely (and were never subsequently delivered).<br><br>The developer was ultimately responsible for providing the keys, but after all of the pressure the estate agency had placed on everybody else throughout the transaction, I would have expected them to ensure that something as basic as completion-day key handover had actually been coordinated.<br><br>From start to finish, this was an unnecessarily stressful, poorly communicated and deeply unprofessional experience. I would strongly encourage everyone to avoid this agency.<br><br>Do your research, ask about relationships between the seller and the agent, and think very carefully before trusting this agency to handle what is the biggest and most stressful purchase of your life.<br><br>I sincerely hope nobody else has to go through what we did. And I genuinely hope that the level of professionalism and “objectivity” is better when they're selling a property that isn't being sold by a family connection.
