12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Unfortunately, my experience with Hamptons was extremely disappointing. I appointed them three times over the past four years — twice to sell my property and once to let it — and on all three occasions they failed to find a suitable buyer or tenant.<br><br>When I appointed them to let my property, one of their staff members attended a viewing with a prospective tenant. The gentleman did not appear to be working and was asking for a discount on the rent. After locking up the flat, I noticed the prospective tenant and the Hamptons staff member whispering in the hallway and then becoming silent as I approached. I found the situation quite unsettling and it gave me very little confidence about renting my property to this individual.<br><br>More recently, I instructed Hamptons to sell the property again before ultimately deciding to move to another agent. I was disappointed that their junior staff carried out viewings without informing me of the prospective buyer's name beforehand. On one occasion, I discovered through my own investigation that a woman who had already viewed my property twice through Savills was now attempting to view it for a second time through Hamptons. She had not disclosed to Hamptons that she had already viewed the property, and she was not in a position to purchase as her own property was not even on the market. She subsequently visited the property several times, which I felt was an unnecessary waste of everyone's time. Providing me with the prospective buyer's name in advance could potentially have avoided this situation.<br><br>Hamptons eventually found a buyer, but the offer was below the amount I had originally paid for the property. I felt that this was another waste of time, particularly as I was encouraged to consider accepting the offer. Fortunately, I declined.<br><br>The final communication from the director was particularly disappointing. I was told that Hamptons were the only people who could sell my flat and that I was making a mistake by leaving them. This was after three months of marketing, during which there had been very few viewings and no credible offers.<br><br>Needless to say, I decided to change agents. Within just one week of going back onto the market with another estate agent, I received a strong offer — and ultimately achieved the best possible price, reflecting what my property was genuinely worth.<br><br>This experience has made me very sceptical of high-street estate agents. My advice would be to do your research carefully and choose an agent who is transparent, realistic, communicative and genuinely focused on achieving the right result for you.
20th Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)I would like to leave a very positive review for Alex at Foxtons Battersea. Alex has been an incredible support throughout the entire sale process. Before working with Foxtons, I was with another agency and unfortunately they were not supportive or helpful at all. The difference with Alex was truly remarkable. He was always professional, kind, and calm — even during the most stressful moments of the sale. He always had a solution ready and made us feel reassured at every stage. What I appreciated the most was his availability. He was always reachable and responsive, even while he was on holiday. We were constantly in touch, and that level of dedication made a huge difference for us. I highly recommend Foxtons Battersea, and especially Alex, to anyone looking to sell their property with confidence and proper support.
24th Aug 2026 (23 days ago)The whole team at KFH (I dealt mainly with Tim & Charles)<br>were excellent from start to finish. Prompt, proactive, professional and courteous at all times. The result was a very speedy listing to completion.<br>For anyone thinking of selling my advice would always be to use a top class estate agent AND an excellent solicitor! It's always worth it.<br>KFH are highly recommended.

The whole team are really switched and kept us up to date throughout the sales process. We would definitely use them again.

From the very beginning, the whole team made the process of selling our home feel incredibly well managed and we always felt we were in safe hands.<br><br>A special mention has to go to Jordan, who was exceptional in every respect. Friendly, attentive, responsive, flexible, considerate and understanding – perhaps not all words you’d traditionally associate with an estate agent! – he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He kept us informed throughout, was always available when we needed him and approached every stage of the sale with professionalism, patience and good humour.<br><br>Suzanne and Nicky were equally attentive and well informed, so whoever we spoke to knew exactly what was happening with our sale. It felt like a genuinely joined-up team effort from start to finish.<br><br>We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and, having come to HJC through a personal recommendation, we’re now very happy to pass that recommendation on. Jordan in particular is an absolute credit to the team.

17th Aug 2026 (30 days ago)Outstanding service from Charlotte Micallef and the entire Beresfords Upminster team!<br><br>I honestly cannot recommend Charlotte Micallef and her team at Beresfords Upminster highly enough. Selling a house can be incredibly stressful, but Charlotte went so far above and beyond for myself and my family that I genuinely felt like she cared about us, not just about selling a property.<br><br>We found a house we really wanted, which meant we needed to get our own property on the market as quickly as possible. Charlotte absolutely delivered. She was working at 11pm and was back in at 6am, making sure everything was sorted so that our property could be ready to go on the market the very next day. That level of commitment and work ethic is exceptional.<br><br>Charlotte works incredibly hard and is a true asset to Beresfords. What also really stood out was how highly she spoke of her team and having dealt with them, I can completely understand why.<br><br>Josh in particular was fantastic. He worked incredibly hard, and it was clear to see how well Charlotte and Josh work together as a team. The other members of staff were also brilliant, keeping us in constant communication, providing feedback promptly and making sure we always knew what was happening. The whole team worked together brilliantly.<br><br>I actually chose Beresfords because of Charlotte. She spoke so highly of Beresfords and her team, and it was genuinely refreshing to hear someone speak with that much pride and belief in the company they work for. But, as we all know, when choosing an estate agent, you ultimately choose the person, not just the company and I chose Beresfords because of Charlotte Micallef.<br><br>If you are looking to sell your house in Upminster or, to be honest, anywhere call Charlotte Micallef. She is absolutely amazing, she gets the job done, she genuinely cares, and she has a fantastic team around her.<br><br>It is very easy to see why Beresfords are regarded as number one in Upminster and across Essex. Charlotte, Josh and the whole team were outstanding from start to finish.<br><br>Thank you, Charlotte and the entire Beresfords Upminster team. You were brilliant!

In particular, Jonny whose advise and knowledge getting the house on the market was invaluable, and also Willow for her hard work keeping the sale process moving after we'd accepted an offer. 26th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)After having attempted to sell our house the previous year through a long established local well know estate agent where the services offered were well below what I had expected, we subsequently took the house off the market. I am so pleased we decided to remarket the following year with Flying Fish: Natalie and Bradley are so knowledgeable and invested in every aspect of sale and their after sale investment was not like any I’ve ever experienced. This is the fifth home we have sold and their attention to detail and communication is far superior, we never had to chase up any aspect from start to finish, their liaison with all parties and solicitors I have never experienced before. All other estate agents have a lot to live up to: Immediate feedback on our WhatsApp group, they know their industry inside and out, staged our home for photos and gave true honest advice which paid off. All viewings are run by them and thus they can answer all questions immediately to prospective buyers. I really cannot recommend highly enough..they even supported us on finding our cat that managed to escape on moving day! If we ever move again I wouldn’t even think twice about who I would go to. Thank you to you both who supported us through all the highs and lows of what wasn’t an easy journey: Flying Fish was so on top off the solicitors but we finally got there!
