18th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)This is a personal review on a fantastic member of staff who has been looking after our home for almost a year.<br>Our estate agent Agit, has gone above and beyond for us on numerous occasions. We have never had an estate agent, previously as a tenant or as a landlord now, that has been so organised, proactive and helpful! Every email is responded to punctually and he’s just on it, always. We couldn’t be happier with the service he is providing us. So this is a ?????????? review on him personally, as we are so incredibly thankful and feel extremely well looked after.<br>I didn’t know how else to give you recognition other than to post on here… but I hope this gets you internal recognition within Acorn, as you are a huge credit to the company.<br>Thanks again Agit!

18th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)turned out to be a difficult sale due to the buyers solicitor being incompetent and unhelpful, the guys at your move were very helpful keeping up the pressure on the buyers to get the sale done and to resolve the problems that the buyers solicitors created, they were all ways there to talk to me and and keep things moving, i know that Dan the manager in the branch put a lot more effort into the sale than would normally be expected, So big thanks to Dan and his team. The only thing i would have some reservations about was their recommendation to use Homefast/PPL as my solicitors, they are cheap and work on a no sale no fee basis which is good and they are probably ok if your sale go's smoothly but i felt a bit left in the dark as they did not really keep me informed when problems and delays came up and it was not all ways easy to get in touch with them, there is very little direct contact with the solicitor appointed to your sale and the vast majority of thing are done through an online portal and not being a very competent computer user i did at times find it difficult. We got there in the end and Yourmove stuck with me and gave support all the way through so i would be happy to recommend them.
9th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Had an absolutely appalling experience with Ben the Head of Lettings and Molly the negotiator. We were misled and coerced towards making a certain offer. Even though an offer mad made there were lies and a complete lack of transparency in the way our offer was handled. The lies continued while trying to justify their position. A subject access request has been raised to prove their lies and a formal complaint is being made with progression to the ombudsman. Unfortunately we’re still left in the detrimental position without the property, with no responsibility or accountability being accepted by the agents. Take extreme care when dealing with lettings in this office.

Their professionalism, combined with a genuinely friendly and approachable manner, made the entire experience seamless from start to finish.We viewed a flat we loved and put in an offer straight away.<br><br>Throughout the process, Maj was honest, transparent, and incredibly responsive. Communication was always timely, clear, and easy to understand, which made what can often be a stressful process feel effortless.We have previously dealt with larger estate agencies with multiple offices, but you simply do not get the same level of personal service and attention.<br><br>The difference was remarkable.As a landlord myself, I only wish I had someone like Maj managing my own rental property. Unfortunately, my properties are too far away!<br><br>Thank you for everything, Maj. Your support has been outstanding and greatly appreciated. 17th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)My experience started off really well when I first moved in, and everything seemed smooth. Unfortunately, as time went on, several problems began to arise.<br><br>We had no Wi-Fi for almost two months, there was a rat infestation, and the air vent in the property never actually worked and seemed to be there purely for display. These issues made the experience increasingly frustrating.<br><br>When I eventually decided to move out, the staff helped with the process. Before paying for the final month, I specifically asked whether I would receive my money back for the days I would not be living there, and I was told that I would. I moved out only two days after the rent was due, yet I was only refunded around half of what I had paid.<br><br>I have now been trying to resolve this for around four months. I have called the office regularly, sometimes around four times a week, but I repeatedly get told that “Charles isn’t in the office.” Unfortunately, this has become extremely frustrating because I still have not received a proper explanation or resolution.

Both Steve and Lukasz were extremely knowledgeable and experienced and their professionalism throughout the process was outstanding.<br><br>Whenever I needed to contact them they were always there to answer questions or provide an update which made the whole process much less stressful. Their communication and willingness to help at any time were amazing.<br><br>I would highly recommend Steve, Lukasz and the team at Langford Russell to anyone looking to sell their property. Their knowledge, experience and dedication made a real difference, and I’m extremely pleased with the result.<br><br>Thank you, Steve and Lukasz, for all your hard work.

My brother and I were selling our mums house and we both live in different countries. Despite this challenge, the staff at Thomas Brown kept is updated at every turn

16th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
