6th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)I had a valuation with Carrie at Hamptons in Caterham. She is by far the most impressive Agent in the area and in her field. Professional, knowledgable, passionate, presentable and honest are just a few ways I would describe her. Hamptons stood out and they really are unlike any other Estate Agent in the area - they go the extra mile with every detail and have their clients at the forefront of everything they do. I would recommend them.

26th Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Jamie Leach has just rented out a property for us. The service he gave was excellent - always returning calls, answering all our questions and generally doing an excellent job. We have dealt with Martin Allsuch for some years and can recommend them most highly.
20th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)I listed my property with JDM for over 12months. They advised me to accept an offer to sell without checking if the buyer had a mortgage offer in place (he did not). It took almost 3 months of waiting to progress the sale before I started to push JDM to find out the buyer had no mortgage in place and the sale had fallen through. I had instructed solicitors and incurred £600 in failed fees all off the back of the advice given to me by JDM. JDM does not qualify prospective buyers positions before arranging a viewing and from my experience ,even before presenting offers to a vendor. I moved my property to KFH. It was sold in less than 3 weeks. 5 viewings, 4 offers and my sale was progressed impeccably. I would urge anyone to think carefully before using JDM. From my recent experience I would strongly suggest avoiding.

5th Mar 2026 (16 days ago)Recently bought a house through David Evans & Co and dealt mainly with Mark. He was brilliant from start to end! Such great communication and a pleasure to deal with. So much better than the estate agent I was selling with, which was one of the big London agents and really didn't care. You could tell that Mark's clients matter to him. If I sell this house in future, I will 100% be using David Evans & Co to sell it.

From start to finish, they were professional, approachable, and supportive throughout the entire process. The communication was excellent – I was kept informed at every stage, as this was an executor sale there was a few challenging issues to overcome. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail gave me complete confidence in the sale process. Their local knowledge and advice were invaluable, and they worked hard to achieve a great outcome and get this over the line. I would highly recommend Stanford Estates and a special reach out to Alex, Rob and Kate Marina, to anyone looking to sell their property. They combine professionalism with a personal touch, and that makes all the difference.

10th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I would highly recommend Alpha Residential. Lisa and Rob were always responsive and went above and beyond with their service while we were selling our house. Rob was very supportive and always contacted all the solicitors if there were any delays. Rob is a very positive agent and his sense of humour helped us to overcome a difficult time as one of the properties we were buying fell through. He was patient and engaged our buyer until we found a new property. For us it was a long process of selling and buying a new property, but Rob was with us in this situation and at the end we got the property we wanted as well as our buyer. Thank you Rob and Lisa, you were great!
19th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)I did not have a good experience with this estate agent and I wouldn’t recommend them. They made lots of mistakes when writing about property and communication was terrible. I ended up getting very stressed out with them.

Paid £415 holding deposit on 2 Feb 2026 after clearly telling the agent I’d go up to the asking price £1,850 pcm if needed.<br>They kept showing the property and accepted a higher offer while holding my deposit – this goes against the Tenant Fees Act 2019, which says stop advertising once a holding deposit is paid.<br>They never told me about the competing higher offer – I would have matched it or gone higher. Communication was unclear, facts were distorted in their response, and the process lacked transparency and fairness.<br>Wouldn’t recommend if you want a reliable agent.

After speaking with Winkworth Surbiton, they stood out immediately—their customer experience was on an entirely different level, and they delivered on every detail we asked for. From the very first conversation to the final handover, the whole process was smooth, transparent, and exceptionally well?communicated. There was never a moment where I felt out of the loop or unsure of the next step. Everything was handled with a level of care detail that made everything stress free and effortless. A special mention must go to Ryan, whose professionalism and engagement were outstanding throughout. He made the entire tenancy process incredibly easy, anticipating questions before they arose and ensuring every stage was handled with precision and clarity. And then there’s Tayte, who genuinely went above and beyond. Her dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to push things forward made all the difference. Without her efforts, none of this would have come together as seamlessly as it did. Thank you very much! Quite simply, Winkworth Surbiton are the best estate agents I’ve ever worked with. We were fortunate to be assigned Mariam, she handled everything as if she were renting the home herself, not just facilitating it for us. She guided us at every step of the process with genuine care and professionalism. Even team members who weren’t directly handling our case, like Mikey and Salma, stepped in to offer guidance and support. Overall, a very positive and reassuring experience.
