6th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I had the pleasure of dealing with Elizabeth at BM - sadly I wasn't successful in buying a property through them - however, Elizabeth was a very lovely and professional estate agent. She was very helpful trying to get me the property. I am sure it would have been plain sailing had I been successful. It was nice to meet an estate agent that wasn't pushy for once - wishing her all the best.
28th May 2026 (22 days ago)Unfortunately, my experience with Barnard Marcus has been very disappointing, to say the least. After arranging an efficient property valuation on my parents’ house three years ago for probate purposes only, following the passing of my father, I have continued to receive regular (often weekly) phone calls about selling the property. Despite explaining the situation multiple times and submitting requests via email to be removed from your contact list, the calls and voicemail messages persist to this day. This ongoing contact, especially given the circumstances, is both frustrating and insensitive. I would appreciate clarity on what further steps are required to have my details permanently removed from your system. If this continues, I will have no choice but to escalate this as a formal complaint, including to relevant regulatory bodies if necessary.

15th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)I wasn't overly impressed by the estate agent. While they were upfront about the market and the difficulty in selling, I don't believe they were actively engaged in the marketing of the property. While presence for viewings, I felt that the agent showing lack knowledge of the properly and area with the owners really providing the viewing. When recieving an offer, there was an underlying pressure to accept a bid which was well below our expectations and only through our push back we were able to get a more satisfactory offer. Something I don't think we could have got with the guidance of the estate agent

They brought in a lot of potential buyers. They communicate well and provide feedback after every viewing. They respect your property. A friendly and professional team.

From the initial viewing all the way through to collecting the keys Maxine was on hand to support us, always contactable and kept us updated throughout. During what was a stressful time for us, we really appreciated the level of service we received and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this branch to anyone who is thinking of buying or selling. 28th May 2026 (22 days ago)SLM has been my Lettings Agent for many years. I never had a problem with tenants. It is a family business. Clients have a personal relationship with SLM. It starts with availability, reactivity and transparency. Each time I contacted SLM for a problem, a question, or documentation request, I had someone to talk to, immediatly or during the day. When one has properties under management in London, problems occur regularly. Within the frame of the law, SLM has always shown flexibility, adaptability and creativity at solving problems. 5 stars for David

31st May 2024 (2 years ago)I had the worst experience of my life with them and Featherstone Leigh , my son has a permanent asthma and breathing issue from the flat they have rented me. I was not able to stay in the flat for over two months , no alternative was offered to me and my family, being homeless due to the smell of damp, water leak has costed me a lot of money and stress. Useless team all they care about is their rent it be paid , they have breached their contract on so many occasions, they failed . Do not get fooled by those good reviews!

They were always very helpful and made it easy for me living abroad as they resolved the tenants minor issues practically and helped me when there were bigger issues. Would highly recommend

As we moved from Germany to London for the first time, the process of searching for a home and completing all the necessary paperwork initially felt quite daunting. However, McMahon made the entire experience smooth and straightforward. Our agent, Serwan, conducted a detailed viewing via video call, shared all relevant information upfront, and guided us seamlessly through the contract process. We were particularly impressed with: 1) The thoroughness and professionalism of the paperwork and inventory check conducted by McMahon, which ensured fairness for both the landlord and the tenant. 2) The prompt resolution of minor issues in the property by Louise, the residential manager, who was highly responsive and efficient. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with both the property and the service provided by McMahon & Partners, and we would highly recommend them.
