Thanks Danny, Ruby, and Elliot - getting my flat listed was an absolute breeze, with viewings booked in immediately (and I mean immediately) followed by getting offers within 2 weeks. I was prepared for the listing process to take a couple months at the least, but everything moved at an incredible speed. Danny was able to suggest a listing price that felt realistic and took into account nearby flats of a similar size. Elliot and Craig also deserves a huge shout out for ensuring completion went smoothly in our chain. There were a couple points where I got genuinely concerned at the status of the chain, but they were all on hand to ensure everything kept chugging along and to chase the relevant parties. Would definitely recommend John Alexander as they're priced competitively, are very responsive, and genuinely helpful.
5th Mar 2024 (21 weeks ago)Terrible service from DavidLee, would not recommend them to anyone. Staff were rude and unhelpful and caused unnecessary stress to the sale of my property. Do not use DavidLee if you want a simple transaction to go smoothly!

The friendly communication and professionalism has meant the organisation of the board designs, set up and removing of the advertising boards from our various supporters properties has been well executed. 6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Having lost my father then having to administer his estate which included the family home of over 50 years, selling was never going to be an easy decision to make. Not sure what to do, I gave Palmer & Partners a call as I had already had a previous positive experience buying with them. On contacting them, empathy and compassion was instantly shown and they could not have been more helpful. They arranged a valuation and discussed the next steps providing options that we could take. All this was conducted with no pressure and with compassion and empathy. Our family decided to sell with Palmer & Partners who provided a very realistic market value, and provided expert advice on when it was best to put the property on sale to maximise the asking price and chance of a sale. They found a buyer very quickly, and multiple offers were forthcoming. They were professional in advising on each buyers curcumstances and helped us come to a decision armed fully with the facts. Unfortunately the Probate process took almost eight months. Despite this they kept in contact with us fully during the process which of course was a difficult time and showed the upmost patience and kept the buyer on side. I could not fault the service I had in any way and would not hesitate to recommend Palmer & Partners as a top choice to use when selling or buying a home. Top marks P&P!

They are still the same bunch of people who will try to rip you off on every single occasion. Please avoid at all cost. There are plenty good agencies out there

27th Jun 2024 (30 days ago)Absolute shambles of a company. Your property will have nothing but issues from the moment you move in. When we moved in the oven was not working, the fridge compartments were broken, the bed was broken along with the clothes rail and chest of drawers. Despite reserving the property two months prior! Then we were told that they had too many clients so were unable to look at each property properly. (shambles in of itself!) whilst living here the washing machine broke down and it took them SIX WEEKS before we had a new one. A lot of money spent having to travel to laundrettes and asking people if we could take suitcases of washing to theirs in order to clean our clothes. Constant issues with the shower and hot water in the property, ongoing flow of water in en-suite shower, every time having to call to get a contractor to come and temporarily fix the issue (the only time they will get it done quick because the water bill is tied to the landlord, certainly didn’t move that quick with the washing machine.) Try to treat full time working tenants the same way they do their students and provide disgraceful properties that have consistent issues throughout the 12 months and hope that you won’t complain and will give them over all your money like students will. Avoid this company like the plague. Will be reporting them to the local council and presenting all these issues to my solicitor. If you want a terrible rental experience then leaders is the place to be!

Whenever we were unsure of something we knew we could speak to Craig Tarbet - either to get a definite answer or to get an estimate/explanation from someone who quite clearly has years of experience. We can't thank Craig and Gallant Richardson enough! If we ever move again we will definitely be using them.

From one conversation over the phone without even meeting me Hannah perfectly understood exactly what I was looking for and her first recommendation ticked every box I had from my "must have" and even the majority of my "nice to haves" for my first home. She knew it was perfect and pushed to have me see it before anyone else, which I cannot thank her for enough. Between Alan and Hannah the communication was brilliant, I felt in the loop, all my questions were answered and they always came back to me even if the query took some time to get an answer.
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

It's quite rare to find a company that provides satisfactory service these days, let alone an outstanding one. Well, they absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot! Firstly, everyone I dealt with in this business was friendly, helpful, and polite. I used them for what turned out to be a highly complex sale/purchase, and I genuinely believe that had I not used Stanton Hockett, I would never have moved. They were dedicated, kept in contact throughout, were always available to speak to, were honest throughout, and totally committed to working with all parties to ensure the whole process worked. All of these qualities were appreciated and welcomed, but for me, personally, it was the personal touch that they brought and knowing that they cared. I really cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put in for me. Special thanks to Bradley, Tina and Gavin, but know the whole team contributed, so thank you.
