I have recently purchased a property through this outfit, something I will never repeat again following this experience!
For some further clarity, I also own a national property company selling hundreds of houses a months and dealing with estate agents across the whole country, hence I feel strongly enough to write this review.
Prior to exchange we stumbled across mis-descriptions within their listings online. They have clearly stated ‘space for’ items that are going and not for items that are staying, makes complete sense yes…..well no!! That doesn’t seem to follow suit with Fenn wright listings so we are advised. They have clearly listed an item in their description outside including kennels and overground pool, the kennels aren’t going but apparently the over ground pool is, who would ever know that from the description which states exactly; “ The main garden is found between the cottage and annexe with lawns and pathways enclosed by post and rail fencing. There is an overground swimming pool and a kennel building”
It’s clearly property mis descriptions with the agent not having a leg to stand on. I now have an upset child to add to the woes of this appalling purchase process.
This coupled with a sales progressor in K****y who was super keen on aborting the sale at every turn, I was asked 5 or 6 times during the process if I wanted to pull out of the sale, with her abrupt and rude attitude throughout. There were occasions where the sales progressor was not in and different information was advised that may or may not have been correct. The sales progress or also not in as many words laid claim on colleagues for this mis informed updates. All in all it was a shambles and took forever. Fenn wright had no care for me as a purchaser along the journey which was extremely disappointing and worrying at times.
I have now raised a formal complaint and will look to escalate this to the property ombudsman for a satisfactory outcome.
Just to top this off, my wife collected the keys today from the Stanway office and was treated so poorly she left upset from the shear rudeness of the staff that handed (threw) the keys over. Beyond rude!!!
